"For the price, this place was good. We didn’t use the pool, but the pool area looked nice. There’s a bar/restaurant in the building, too. We checked in after midnight (just driving through the area) and left by 7am. Richard at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. As far as the room goes, it was fine. Clean enough. Bed was comfortable enough. Someone down the hall was smoking so you could smell it in the hall, but I’m sure that’s not a normal occurrence. The room was spacious. Were there things that were slightly outdated or could be fixed (cracking caulk or older AC units)? Sure, but it’s exactly as expected, but with a really nice and inviting lobby and a really nice front desk person. Parking lot felt safe. Easy to get in and out. I’m very happy with our time there and will likely be stopping there again on our travels south multiple times a year!"

"The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The dinner buffet was delicious as was the breakfast buffet. There was a pretty good variety of items during both meals. We had Carnitas tacos, street corn, nachos bar, and soup and salad options for dinner. The breakfast buffet had fresh homemade biscuits, pepper gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hard boiled eggs, mini blueberry and banana nut muffins l, oatmeal, fresh homemade waffles, toast, cinnamon raisin toast, English muffins, bagels, a cereal bar and fresh fruit as well as several juice options, milk, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. We were close to a very large shopping center that had a large variety of restaurants and stores. There was a gas station and grocery store less than a 2 minutes drive. The market place inside had a lot of quick snacks and drinks options but were a bit pricey. There's a mini fridge and microwave inside the room and also an iron with ironing board along with a hair dryer and a single serve coffee maker. The room was well lit. We didn't get the chance to use the pool or hot tub or the fitness center but they were available for use by the guests. There's a business center, laundry area, plenty of parking, baggage carts, and it's pet friendly. I highly recommend booking with Drury if traveling to or in Louisville. We will definitely be booking with them for any future stays in the Louisville Metro area. It's also conveniently close to many other places less than a few miles away."

"Throughout the weekend, I repeatedly reported excessive noise from the guest above me, including constant stomping between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. I work night shift, so this made it extremely difficult to rest. Each time I called the front desk, I was told the issue would be addressed, but nothing was ever done. After working a 15-hour shift, I was then woken up and informed that I did not have a reservation extension in the system. This lack of communication among staff is unacceptable and added unnecessary stress to an already exhausting situation. I specifically chose to stay at this location because I have had positive experiences with Candlewood Suites in the past, especially given my kidney condition and need for proper rest. Unfortunately, this stay has been the complete opposite. It feels like if it’s not one issue, it’s another, and the only response I receive is repeated apologies with no resolution. At this point, I am requesting that an area manager contact me directly to address these concerns and provide a proper resolution."
