"This place can be better. It’s quiet, out of town, peaceful and new. Great place to unwind with plenty of in and outdoor activities including a great pool and grassy areas. It’s self sufficient. The food there is very good considering where the resort is. BUT, The staff are eager to serve but they don’t know very much about service. I’m mentioning the following to help management understand what’s going wrong. We checked into room 105. It’s under the restaurant so there’s a lot of noise coming...

"We stayed at Mavi Retreat during our trip to Badami, Pattadkal and Aihole. It is a brand new resort ( ~7 months old). The rooms were excellent - with nice comfortable beds, very good western bathrooms. The restaurant food was excellent - made fresh to order, at the mild spice level as we requested. The breakfast had limited options (omlette, paratha, poori/chhole), but the preparation was great and it was available till 10.30am.
