Romsey Holidays from £236

Hotel was very easy to get to with plenty of parking, lovely furniture and decor all around. To the rear of property was a small lake with Fish which you could feed if asked reception for food for them. Room was really clean and very good as it had both bath with shower and a seperate shower. Large tv and comfy beds. Pool was slightly smaller than i expected but nice and warm. Changing rooms needed someone to regularly attend and clean especially as bins were always full. Restaurant was very nice could do with a bigger menu however food was tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast had plenty choices however for some items there was an additional charge which i thought was a bit cheeky. Quiet location from the hustle n bustle 9f Cambridge but not much in the immediate vicinity other than Morrisons. The only downside to hotel when i was there was that both lifts were not working for 2 days which with heavy suitcase or anyone with disabilities getting upstairs was a major issue. Was informed that help with the evacuchair could be used to get downstairs but this seemed a bit excessive. All in all a pretty good hotel and i would stay here again.

Disappointing stay – cleanliness needs improvement We stayed at Quy Mill Hotel & Spa for an overnight break, looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the swimming pool, sauna and other leisure facilities. Unfortunately, the hotel felt dated, and the rooms would benefit from refurbishment, particularly the very old carpets. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the sauna changing rooms. There was a noticeable smell of urine, hair, dirty flooring and visible stains. This was unpleasant and fell below the standard I would expect from a hotel offering spa and leisure facilities. On a positive note, breakfast was very nice and enjoyable. One other point to be aware of is that parking is £10 per 24hrs for third-party bookings, although it can be made free by agreeing to receive marketing emails. Overall, although the hotel has facilities that could make for a lovely relaxing break, the cleanliness and maintenance need significant improvement.
