We enjoyed the house very much and we found all of the games and supplies that came with the house to be superior to other rentals that we have had. The hike to the lake is definitely as advertised for someone that is in really good shape part of it is stairs and the other part is a rudimentary trail that is on an incline. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed as city people having a weekend in the country feeling far away from everything. It felt like camping without all of the hassles of setting up and staying in a tent. We would definitely come back and the host was very responsive and generous. Host was so easy to communicate with and very informative as we went when bad weather was approaching and they were more than willing to work woth us. Keep in mind folks, this is a cabin in the woods so there is going to be some critters! But nothing unexpected in my opinion, and not infested by any sense of the word. Just a mouse or two . Would recommend if you are a nature lover, hiking and scenery is great and readily accessible. Thanks for letting us stay!
