Our quiet, private SAVE MO Cottage, is conveniently located just off Interstate 44 and Hwy 68 on B Hwy. We are excited for your stay an hope you enjoy your time here! Our Cottage is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life where you can enjoy the great outdoors or just stay in for a quiet evening together. You can take your time visiting one of our many local Winery's, a local Brew Pub, and a State Park. While here you might enjoy tasty foods at one of our many local restaurants or a locally owned Steakhouse, or if you prefer to cook - dine in and prepare your own favorite meal in the fully stocked kitchen.
SAVE MO Cottage features one comfortable Queen sized bedroom with dresser for clothes and storage space for hanging garments.
Our full living room has a comfy Queen size sofa sleeper, flat screen SmartTV & DVD player. Also notice a private washer & dryer in the handicap accessible bathroom featuring a large zero-grade, walk-in shower where you can find fluffy bath towels and washcloths, extra bed linens, sheets and blankets as well as extra personal toiletries are available. (Just in case you forget something!) Iron and table top ironing board are available.
Our Cottage kitchen is stocked with most everything you will need as far as appliances. Full sized gas stove and frig - dishes and silverware, children's place ware, pots and pans, private BBQ grill and utensils. You will have your own clearly marked, private parking space out of the driveway.
Free WiFi. - Password given to you at arrival.
No Smoking. 🚭 No Tobacco products.
No Animals.

Nice Cottage in St. James
We loved staying at this property. The cottage is the perfect size for two or a couple with a child. The owner was very nice and had everything ready for us when we arrived. The bed was comfy and a seating area in the back yard was perfect to enjoy your first cup of coffee.

We loved the hosts and they made things very simple. the cottage was very clean and the bed was comfortable. the AC system could use and upgrade. the Setting was extremely peaceful and I would recommend to others.

Cosy Safe Getaway
I stayed at this VRBO for 2 days. I was a little nervous as I was traveling alone for work. The owner made me feel so comfortable and I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very cosy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there is a smart TV in the livingroom that you can sign in to your streaming services. If I end up in St. James again I will absolutely be staying here.

Beautiful place and so quiet
Overall it was wonderful. I would suggest adding instructions for the ceramic heater for anyone not familiar with them. Beyond tbat it was an absolute joy.

Perfect weekend get away
Laura was a great host. S.A.V.E. MO was a comfortable cozy cottage. Laura even added some additional items to the cottage when I inquired about items there. I would definitely recommend this cottage for someone looking for weekend getaway.

Laura was a fantastic host! S.A.V.E, MO is close enough to the wineries and restaurants, yet still far enough for a peaceful, private, serene getaway. Woke up to see the cows grazing next door every morning! The cabin was well stocked with amenities and superbly clean. Definitely on our getaway list for future visits!

This cabin is comfortable and has great amenities. It's "out in the country" but still close enough to town for shopping & restaurants if you desire. The owner is friendly and helpful. I had a nice, relaxing week long stay.
