"Our stay at the Big Lake House couldn’t have any more amazing! The hosts literally thought of everything when preparing this property for guests. There were 27 of us, aging from two weeks old to 79. We explored every amenity the house had to offer and there was never a dull moment! We cooked many big meals, and the kitchen is so well appointed that we lacked for nothing! One particularly impressive thing about this property is how accessible it is for someone with a disability. One of our guests uses a scooter and/or a walker to get around. He was able to go everywhere on the main level. Thanks to the ramps on the outside of the house and the sidewalk down to the dock, he was able to use the pool and access the beach and dock. Bravo to the hosts for offering such an amazing home for our family reunion!"

"This is the second time that we’ve stayed at this hotel while biking on the Silver Comet/Chief Ladiga Trail. They’ve gone through some upgrades since our last stay. We had been riding for 4 1/2 hours in the nonstop pouring rain. I wiped out on a hairpin curve on the trail a mile and a half from the hotel. I arrived to check in dripping blood and muddy water on the floor, visibly shaken. The lovely young lady behind the counter immediately rushed to give me a towel and assured me that it was no problem that I was making a mess of her floor. She even provided me with Band-Aids for my injuries. Hot coffee was available in the lobby. There was no issue with us bringing our bikes into the room for the night. Rooms were spotless and ours even had a huge Jacuzzi tub! That was a wonderful surprise! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is biking on the trail."

"We stayed here for 2 weeks, and it was like a home away from home. The house was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was coffee, boxes of Kleenex, and some bathroom supplies in case you forget something like a toothbrush). The creek in the backyard was a cool feature! The host called me a couple of days into our stay just to check on us and to see if we needed anything. There was ample parking...even covered parking! We had a truck, trailer, and motorcycles with us. I really enjoyed my daily walks to Rolater Park, and the house is conveniently located to walk downtown to enjoy shops and restaurants (there are only a few restaurants, but everything we tried was great!). Cave Spring is a small, quiet town. We chose that location to be close to Cedartown, where my son and his wife were having a baby so we could be just down the road from them (we didn't want to be in their way with a newborn) and have a vacation at the same time. I would definitely stay here again in the future."
