Humble, quaint, and quiet
These 3 words best describes our stay. Everything is as the pictures show and, while not over the top fancy, it is just perfect. Communication with the hosts, Oswald and Betty, was prompt, curious and so helpful. Directions from the airport to their home was precise and very easy to follow. Being able to walk in the front door and walk directly out the back door to the Caribbean Sea was incredible. The front and back porch are perfect for your morning coffee and there are plenty of chairs in the backyard for sitting and watching the sea. We were looking for a place where we could be alone without the crowds and we found it! It was wonderful!

This property was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I thought it was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the water side enjoying that beautiful turquoise water. The size of the apartment was perfect for us, we were quite comfortable. Walking the beach was great enjoyment. Tanya and Marco were very nice and were certainly knowledgeable about the area. They made us a meal of original Bahamian Food. That was tasty! Good food. Good people. We hope to go back to this exact location some day. Absolutely one of the most beautiful places on earth. Thank you for everything!

Island retreat
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We had an amazing time! Everything you need is within walking distance. Restaurants, bars, convenience and liquor stores. We stopped for groceries on our way into town and that was great! We saw three sea turtles each morning to the left of the unit in the water. They had a kayak that I took out as well. We also did excursions. Betty and Ozzie were amazing hosts. We spent a lot of time chatting and connecting with their family. Betty made us a delicious Bahamian dinner one night. Their son in law runs the lighthouse cafe next door and they had tasty food as well. Ozzie cut open and taught us about coconuts too. There was a little lizard and dogs that would visit us each day as well. It was a quiet stay with only a handful of people on the beach each day. This is a quiet place and not the place to be if you’re looking for clubs, parties, or night life. It was perfect for us and I hope we will be able to visit again. A week of relaxing
Lovely people, cute little place with a wonderful view to the blue, blue water. Oswald and I chatted about the history of the island and he shared local stories. Really enjoyed that, and he also gifted me some watermelon from his farm. Perfect. Need a car to stay here, as is the case for most rentals on the island. Only one small problem was a very bright light outside the bedroom window.

We enjoyed our stay and the location and beach right out the front door created tremendous tranquility and allowed us to recharge our batteries. Oswald and Betty are the perfects hosts and true treasures. Warm, welcoming, and made us feel like a part of their family as soon as we met them. We can't wait to come back and stay again. We would highly recommend this property. Also the Lighthouse Cafe and Ice Cream Parlor next door had great food. Loved the Coconut Shrimp.

Beautiful place on the water with so much character.
We had such an amazing time and our hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The place has everything you need, and you can fall out your back door onto the beach and what feels like your own private beach! Don’t miss having dinner at Lighthouse Cafe and ice cream. It’s right next down and feels like home cooking!

Beautiful location
We were told Bahamian people were nice. Betty and Oswald Nixon have to be at the top of the list. If you want luxury stay at Sandals. If you want a beautiful beach that is steps out your door, privacy, attentiveness from the owners, and a clean place to stay, then their house is the one! They live in a separate area attached to the rental, but you wouldn’t know they were there. We met some of the family that were just as friendly as Betty and Oswald. The location is a bit far from Georgetown and restaurants. We had some TV issues, which they were quick to remedy. We wished the DVD player worked since I brought exercise DVDs and others to watch in the evenings when we wanted to relax. They tried their best to fix that, but it couldn’t be resolved. I’m sure they will fix it before the next vacationers. The view from the bedroom is awesome. There was plenty of room to store our belongings, which was appreciated since we always overpack! I highly recommend their place! We would stay there again, but our next visit will be with several family members. God bless Betty and Oswald.

wonderful place and people
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Property is right on the beach with great views. Apartment is clean and well proportioned with everything you need. Enjoyed taking the kayak out one day and exploring...we saw a giant red starfish and a live sandollar. The family is great and makes you feel like family. The bed is comfy and the bedroom is dark which we love so we can sleep soundly. Highly recommend this rental and the delicious ice cream right next door. Would stay here again absolutely!!

I cant say enough about the owners daughter and her husband. they checked on us and made sure we were doing ok and if we needed anything. the property is very cozy and just as the pictures described. we loved the beach there as we sat outside every morning drinking our coffee and listening to the waves. we only saw one other couple on the beach there all week. we cant thank Jasmine and Marco enough for their hospitality. Loved this place!

A little paradise is good for the mind, body, and soul
Our stay in Exuma was absolutely perfect for us. The apartment and waterfront property were exactly as described, and we could not have been happier with the location. The Nixon’s, who own the home, and The Lighthouse Café were away, but other family members welcomed us and made our visit most enjoyable. We scuba dive for pleasure and explored the reefs right in our backyard. Very convenient with only a few steps into the water and off we went. We also spent a day on Dive Exuma exploring reefs in deeper water, took the tourist boat with Robert’s Adventures, and ate at many of the local restaurants. Just remember you are on an island which mean your living on "island time" and resources are limited. Some restaurants and shops open later in afternoon and businesses close early depending on what services you need. There is no 24hr Walmart there. So, plan to slow down, relax, and enjoy a few days of just simple life. Don’t hesitate to rent a car and explore the island. It’s worth having your own transportation. There are many places to visit the beautiful waters and beaches throughout the island if your scout around. To the Nixon family, we thank you for sharing a little piece of your paradise. The beautiful laid-back Bahamian experience!
We've been to many islands including Cuba, Dominican Republic, St Martin, Antigua, Turks and Caicos, etc. and this is one of the best vacations we've ever had. This apt is right on a beautiful beach that only had about a dozen people walk by during the whole week! Normally I'd be hesitant to stay in a place where the owners are living, but Oswald and Betty were two of the nicest people we've met in our travels and were so kind and helpful, without being intrusive at all. They warmly welcomed us when we arrived in the evening with big smiles and drinks in the fridge which we really appreciated. They have a wonderful family as well, and we look forward to seeing them when we return. This is definitely not the Sandals experience, which we've done before, and find very boring at this point. When we met some Sandals guests on a boat tour of the islands, they seemed amazed and a envious of the stories we had of driving around the island, exploring different beaches and restaurants. I understand that people are reluctant to venture out if they are used to other busier, less safe islands, but this is one of the safest islands we've been on, and we'd recommend this property to anyone wanting a great island experience.

Wonderful spot on a wonderful island
We had a great time at this property. The family that owns it was communicative and helpful. The place itself was perfect for us as a couple and right on a beautiful beach as a bonus. The location proved excellent to get to all of our new found favorite spots on the island. Everyone that helped with the house was such a pleasure to meet and talk to and having the Lighthouse Cafe next door was great as well. Million dollar beachfront view
We stayed one week in this property and really enjoyed getting to know the Nixon family. Betty and Oswald were a true pleasure to interact with. They care a great deal about their guests' experience and are happy to share information and respond to any questions. They were also flexible with us on check-out to accommodate our flight schedule which we appreciated. They are just wonderful people. The property is literally beachfront on a beautiful beach with amazing views. If you don't feel like driving, you can step out the back door and have an amazing beach all to yourself. There is a nice covered back porch where we had breakfast each morning watching the ocean. Also, there is a great view of the ocean through the bedroom windows. The unit is attached to the main house (with separate entrances) and you will have the family living beside and above your quarters. But they are very quiet and the benefit is that they are right there to answer any questions immediately. The unit itself is small but perfect for a couple. It is laid out very efficiently with a kitchenette with table, a small living area with a love seat, and a separate small bedroom and bath. As a bonus, there is a large closet in the bedroom with more than enough room to store your suitcases, clothes, etc. Very handy. The apartment is very basic so if your tastes lean towards needing to be surrounded by luxury, this isn't for you. It is a small, clean, efficient apartment. There are two separate AC units which cool the rooms very well. The kitchen had everything we needed in a small footprint (fridge, microwave, stove, pots/pans, utensils, cups, glasses). We had to buy a bag of ice each day as the one tiny ice tray in the freezer was not going to provide enough ice for drinks. A few more ice trays would be helpful. The queen size bed was ok but we did find it a challenge to sleep through the night sometimes. The issue was a dusk to dawn security light that is installed on the back porch next to the bedroom window. It is very bright and even with the curtains, some light leaked in. We mentioned this to Oswald and he said it was recently installed and that he would either have it moved or install a switch so that guests can turn it off. They are very good about feedback from guests. We really enjoyed our week here and enjoyed our time with the Nixon family! I recommend renting a car to get around. We rented from Thompson's and it was a good experience, car was fine.

Perfect peace
Beautiful situation, a beautiful beach side property. The host family couldn’t have been kinder or more friendly, and it was lovely getting to know them. The property was as expected, however TV was on the itinerary but not available, and as we stayed for 14 days we do feel it should have been available, or not included in the package. We also suggest padded chair pads for the outside wooden seats, as we did have to use throw cushions and even our bed pillows eventually. This could be because we are both close to our 80’s and have many aches and pains!! We are from the U.K. and needed to isolate re covid, and this place was perfect to be able to do that, very quiet and peaceful. Thank you Betty and Oswald for your kind hospitality.

We were steps away from the beach and could hear the ocean and watch the sunrise from our bed. Betty and Oswald and their daughter Tanya were fantastic. We enjoyed engaging with them and felt that if you wanted to be secluded they would honor that too. We were their first guests following COVID. There was not a lot of activity in that area. Very private and relaxing and the water was amazing. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and stop at the grocery store on our way to the rental. They gave us a complimentary Bahamian dinner the first night of our stay. Lighthouse Cafe next door had great food and ice cream. Big D's was a short walk down the beach. We enjoyed the Conch fritters and drinks. If you're looking to party this may not be the place for you, but if you are looking to relax and rejuvenate, this is the perfect place. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Stay
Oswald, Betty, and their family are absolutely wonderful. Betty picked us up from the airport and brought us to the grocery store in town, which was beyond nice. The house was just the way it looked in pictures and very clean. If you're looking for an American luxury resort, this is not the place for you because it's simple. But if you are down to earth and looking for a great place in a great location with nice people, then don't hesitate to rent this place. The ocean is at your fingertips and you can walk a good distance on the beach. We enjoyed snorkeling and swimming from their beach and having breakfast outside on the tables they have in the back. The bed is comfy and the AC works great. Wifi can be a little iffy but it seems to be that way on the whole island. You can walk to the Lighthouse cafe and Big D's which is a fun bar/restaurant. We would suggest renting a car for part of your stay so you can travel the island, but there are taxi services. Oswald and Betty's son, John, has a taxi service, so that is convenient! I would suggest doing a day tour with Exuma adventures, we did the full day tour and it was amazing. Also, go to Chat and Chill's on stocking island for their Sunday pig roast! We will miss the Nixon family very much. We really enjoyed getting to know them and also spending time with their grandchildren. We hope to see them again someday!

Feels like coming home.
I am a person who is comfortable with casual settings and I greatly value personal connections with the people who live where I'm visiting. Based on this, Rokers Point, with Oswald and Betty and their family was a lot like a MUCH prettier "home" than my own back in NY. From the moment they picked us up at the airport, they took care of all our needs. Showed us all the spots of interest, tried helping us get a car from a local friend, set us up with our first night delicious meal at their family restaurant The Lighthouse, next door to the house and just TOOK CARE OF US! The house is right ON the beach, in a part of Exuma that I frankly like better than being in downtown Georgetown. Steventon is about 20 minutes by car from G'town and has more going on in the evenings with some charming beach bars and good food. We did rent a car and that is necessary to get to all the nicest spots. I'm a birder and my friend is a beach dweller. Between us, my favorite spot was the island land fill where some brackish ponds made for decent birding. My friend made sure we found every beach on the island of Exuma - all easily reached because we were positioned in Steventon. The house is comfortable and very, very clean. It was perfect for two old friends who just wanted a week of chill. We didn't cook much there although we certainly could have. Too much to explore. One thing to be aware of. Getting out to snorkle on good reefs you HAVE to get on a boat, which will likely cost a lot for a couple of hours. The good news is that just outside of Betty and Oswald's sweet house is a lovely beach with some reef as well. It was very windy when we were there so I never did go out. Way too rough. Sad for me! If you go to the restaurant, ask Marco (co-owner and chef) to rustle you up some of his coconut shrimp. Might be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth!!!! AND it is the only place you can get ice cream on all of Exuma!!!! We enjoyed our stay so much, felt like we were visiting family! That really makes a trip for me. I know we will be back to visit again soon. Thank you so very, very much Oswald, Betty and all the rest of your lovely family!!!

Stay Here! Best value on Exuma!!
This is an unforgettable Bahamas experience. Betty and Oswald are such caring and kind people. Their apartment is cute, comfortable and clean with a million dollar view! I spent my mornings and nights having coffee watching the waves crash in the shore. The bed is comfortable and the ocean and wind lull you to sleep. Next door is the Dixon-owned Lighthouse cafe. The food is fantastic and cooked with care. I can’t wait to come back and stay again! So happy we chose this place! Thank you Betty and Oswald.

We loved the beach front location, great for walking, swimming, snorkeling. The kitchen/living area is sufficient with a one bedroom that is comfy. Two dining locations within walking distance. The family that lives onsite really make this place, they are so kind and always asking if you need anything to make your stay better. Love that they will pick you up from the airport, take you to the grocery store and take you back to the airport when you leave.

The property was exactly as you would expect from the pictures. It was very nice that Mrs Nixon and her daughter (Tonya) came to pick us up at the airport. The location was on a beautiful beach and their grandson pointed turtles out for us right away when we arrived at the property! Mr and Mrs Nixon as well as their daughters were very nice and attentive. The only issue we had was with how many flies got into the apartment when we cooked steak or anything with garlic. There is a good butcher on the island and we were told his steak meat is excellent. We bought steaks and came back to the property to cook. Unfortunately, this attracted a huge amount of flies to the apartment and a large amount of those where able to get in, even after we shut the main back door, (the screen back door was always shut). However the host came right away and helped us to get rid of the bugs. They even offered us another free meal (which was excellent). Overall we enjoyed the stay. The Nixon’s are very nice people. Just be careful cooking with garlic & steak. (Unfortunately D’s Conch was closed during entire our stay).

Unfortunately in a tropical climate house flies flourish as temperatures in this climate are ideal for them. So with cooking, even if the screen door is closed, they will become attracted to the scent and get through even a small crack near the closed screen door, so we agree that when cooking the main doors should be closed. First of all Exuma is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! We are already planning our next trip and when we do we will definitely stay here again. Very clean and cozy. Great outside area with lounge chairs and your own cocoanut trees that provide shade if needed. The beach is beautiful and just steps away from the back door. We ate at the family restaurant which is right next door, The Lighthouse Cafe. The Cury Chicken was amazing as well as the ice cream. We also hung out at Big D’s which is only about a 5 min walk down the beach. Great atmosphere and good food. The best part by far was the hospitality. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Mr and Mrs Nixon but we did have the pleasure of meeting their daughter Jasmine. She is the best!!! She made us feel right at home. One night we sat on the back porch and talked to her and her brother for at least an hour maybe two (my husband is a talker) and had a great time. The Nixon’s are an amazing family and wish them all the best!!!

A little piece of paradise
I had a lovely stay at Betty and Oswald's place in Steventon. They were unfortunately away due to medical needs, but their daughter, Jasmine, was incredibly kind and helpful. The property is just as it appears in pictures. The beach is fantastic with gorgeous views. I highly recommend staying here.

Peace and quiet
If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with a beautiful beach this is the place. Alexis was our host this week and she was the best. Make sure to stop in the Lighthouse Cafe. We ate there 8 of our 9 days and it would of been all 9 but they are closed on Tuesday. These are some awesome people. A rental car is a must. Can’t wait to come back !!! The airport pickup and dropoff is great. If you are looking for granite countertops and other fancy stuff this isn’t the place but if you want clean relaxing peace and quiet. This is the place. I loved it there. And food shop at Islands prime meats and go to Smittys liquor if you need spirts.

Perfect for a Long Weekend Getaway!
This little gem was absolutely perfect for our long weekend away to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The apartment sits on a beautiful beach which stretched out in each direction. It is quiet and away from any crowds which was perfect. Our communications were always answered promptly and the airport pick up and drop off are so helpful. We were able to stop for some groceries, a little rum and fresh fruit before heading to the apartment. John and Jasmine Alexis were fantastic. They treated us like family during our trip which only added to how fabulous everything truly was for us. The food at the Lighthouse Cafe was so tasty. Marco does a great job! The ice cream really hit the spot and was delicious. If you are looking to get away from it all and feel like you are with family this is the place for you. We will be back soon!

Cute little apartment, excellent location, secluded beach paradise!
Everything previous reviews say about being treated like family is 100% true. While Oswald and Betty were unavailable during our stay, their daughter Jasmine was available almost daily if we needed anything, for questions, or for just a quick chat. The room apartment is a cute little place attached to the family's main home, one of their daughter's and son-in-law lives upstairs, and the Nixons occupy the other half of the building. This was awesome for us because we felt very secure knowing that there was always someone around when we were off exploring other beaches or George Town. The Nixons are also very well known in the community so that made us feel even more secure. There is a very nice backyard area with lounge chairs, an outdoor table, and some chairs. My wife and I spent a lot of time in the mornings eating breakfast or dinner out on the back porch area. There is a very long beach just outside the house that we basically had all to ourselves. There was another rental 2-3 houses down but we never saw more than 4-5 people on the entire stretch of beach at a time. The house is located very close to Cocoplum and Three Sisters Beaches. We went to each of those twice during our week stay. Three Sisters was our favorite and both times we were there combined we saw 2 other people. Big D's Conch Spot and of course the Nixons restaurant are both within easy walking distance down the beach. Several other restaurants are within a quick 5-10 minute drive. The free meal that is included at their restaurant was delicious. Plus, the ice cream at their restaurant is also excellent! The house is located close to the road (pretty much all beachfront places are), so there is a good amount of road noise if you go to bed early or like to sleep in. Otherwise it is a pretty quiet place. The only big negative for me was the bed is just a double, and being used to a king bed at home that was a bit of an adjustment. There were also a couple nights where the A/C in the bedroom couldn't keep up and made some noise that woke my wife and I up. But this seemed to be an isolated issue, after shutting it down for a little while it kept working afterwards. You could definitely get away with not having a car and staying here for a week. Jasmine offered to take us to the grocery store when she met us at the airport before guiding us back to the house. The beach outside the place is very nice, but we liked the others close by better.

Beautiful location, lovely family.

Comfortable and Quaint
We stayed at the property our 1st night in the Bahamas. Jasmine met is at the airport and showed us to the house pointing out sites and providing history of the island alone the way. The house was clean and the bed was super comfortable. There is a nice little sitting area in the back looking at the water. We took a quiet stroll along the beach and spent sometime hanging out at Big D’s Conch bar. (Which is walking distance from the house.) We then had a wonderful dinner at the family owned restaurant right next door with ice cream for dessert. Thank you for opening your home to us, we would definitely recommend this property for a couples.

Great experience!
Warm and kind owners. We appreciated the invite on Christmas for lunch especially since all the stores/restaurants were closed. Nice to be on beach and have space and quiet. Location was good and easily got to top locations on island. Really liked their restaurant next door...especially the bbq chicken and ice cream. We would happily return and enjoy another stay!

Wonderful!
My girlfriend and I stayed in Exuma for 5 days, specifically in Steventon. It was the first time there for both of us, so we weren't 100% sure what to expect. Jasmine and Tanya took such good care of us, almost treating us like family. They gave us our space, but checked in on us when needed. They know the area very well, so they were very helpful when it came to how to best get around the island and what places we should visit and when. The accommodations were perfect, a little bungalow right on the beach. We sat out on the back patio and had coffee every morning overlooking the white sand and blue water. We like to cook our own meals, so we did dinners at the house most evenings. It had everything we needed. Overall, the accommodations were comfortable, clean, and everyone was extremely friendly. I will definitely be returning there in the future.

Beautiful sandy beach
We had a great time on beautiful Flamingo beach,turtles swimming by, large stingrays and very few people, very private. Hosts treated us like family.

It's just like a piece of paradise in a bottle.
Thank You to the entire Nixon Family. My husband and I had the time of our life. Were we greeted at the airport by Mr. Nixon and his daughter Alexis. All though we were delayed 2 hours in Nassau on our connecting flight to Georgetown, Exuma , they were very patience with us. We were showed to our lovely cottage for the next 8 days and I must say we felt right at home. Very cozy and interment. Mrs. Nixon had a lovely Bahamian meal waiting for us and it was delicious. Next door at Light house Café and Ice Cream Parlour. It is owned and operated by daughter and son-in-law. Mr. & Mrs. Nixon daughter Shalanda arrange for me to go on the Exuma Pig Excursion with her and her sons. I had the time of my life. We visited a few of the Keys in Exuma. I was able to leave my footprints in the sand and swim with the nurse sharks at Compass Cay. Swim with the pigs at Black Point and I watched the Iguanas crawl on the other tourist. Enjoyed fresh conch salad at Farmers Cay and lunch at Farmers Cay Yacht Club and Resort. All and all we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back.

A Perfect Piece of Paradise
Our week with the Nixon family left us feeling almost like family and Exuma locals as well. We always read reviews and book our vacations accordingly and the reviews for this beautiful spot were bang on. The beach is gorgeous and the waters of Exuma are second to none. The apartment was equipped with all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. Betty and Oswald did not hesitate to offer assistance and made sure we had everything we needed. We much appreciated the pick up and drop off at the airport and our welcome dinner the first night was fabulous! The food at Lighthouse Café next door, owned by their daughter Tanya and her husband Marco, was awesome and plentiful. My advice would be to make sure you have a big appetite and save room for the yummy ice cream. The prices are more than reasonable (average $10-$12) for a huge meal. You can venture down the beach to Big D's Conch Bar for a cold beer and other Island drinks if you desire. We fell asleep listening to the waves …. pure paradise. We cannot wait to return. Truly and amazing family willing to share their perfect little gem in the paradise of Exuma. We highly recommend this wonderful place. Wonderful Home away from home
We decided to book this place due to all the great reviews and all we can say is: They were all more than correct. The appartment looks exactly like in the pictures, it is decorated with much love to detail and there is everything you need. We travelled with our almost-one-year-old and there were even beach toys for him. The shower has great water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. You can hear and see the ocean through the window and the back door. We were not able to sit outside much as it was extremely windy during our stay but stargazing at night was amazing. We stayed for a week which included a cleaning with fresh bed linens and towles, there were more than enough towles and beach towles for all of us. Mr & Mrs Nixon picked us up at the airport (they had organized a child seat for our baby that we could use throughout our stay!) and were very helpful before and during our stay, when it came to rent a car, book a boat trip and so on. The communication before we arrived was always quick, friendly and helpful. They and their children and grand children are so sweet and friendly! The dinner they served us on our first night was amazing, such a nice welcome to the island. Their daughter brought us to the airport as we were leaving and was very helpful during the check in too, return of the rental car etc.. Special thanks to Dominic for the help with Baby B! The Lighthouse Café and Ice cream Parlor next door (run by Mr & Mrs. Nixons daughter and son-in-law) is open for lunch and dinner and serves wonderful Bahamian food. You get cole slaw as a side order at most local restaurants in Exuma, it tastes a little bit different everywhere but I liked the Lighthouse one the most. A rental car is a must though, in order to get around and do grocery shopping. Cocoplum beach is just around the corner and Georgetown is not far. Stocking Island is a must see! Tropic of Cancer Beach is a little bit further away but worth the drive (stop by Mom's bakery for Marble cake!!) If you are looking for a sweet little home away from home, with the extra luxury of locals seeing to it that you have a great time and help you when you have questions, this is the place. Highly recommend it.

5 Star Stay
We had the most pleasant stay with Mr Oswald and Mrs Betty Nixon The hospitality was truly exceptional, we felt like we were right at home. Mrs Betty went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The location is absolute perfection. Right on the crystal clear waters of Exuma (Best waters in the world), not too far from the main town, but far enough to truly escape. Great location with loving hosts
My wife and I decided to go to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. We stayed for a week at Sandals Emerald Bay and LOVED it. We wanted to squeeze a little more out of our vacation so we decided to stay a couple nights with the Nixon's. Betty was such a gracious host and cooked us a wonderful meal upon arrival. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed and being just steps away from the beach we enjoyed spending time gazing at the beautiful turquoise water! We had a great time visiting with the Nixon family and their pets as well who entertained us during our stay. We truly felt like part of the family during our time with them and we would definitely visit again! Highly recommend this property for an affordable place to visit and make memories!

Betty and Oswalds place is the perfect place for relaxation and beauty on the island.
The whole Nixon family was extremely accommodating and provided only the best service I could have imagined. Thier spirit warms your heart. Their home is in paradise and the location is the perfect oasis to get away and truly enjoy your holiday. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The meal they cooked on my first night was amazing. Plus the animals make it feel like home :) Can't wait to go back

Beautiful location, nice apartment, and amazing hospitality!
I stayed here with my 8 year old daughter in April 2017. Betty, Oswald, and their family were fantastic hosts, and they treated us like we were part of the family. The airport pick-up and drop-off were much appreciated, as was Betty's great dinner delivered right to our room on our first night. We got to know the extended family and all the kids that lived in the area, making this a much more personal experience than you could get at a hotel. The location is quite close to coco plum beach, which makes it easy to visit this amazing spot at low tide. They helped us arrange an affordable rental car, and they provided advice to help us on our outings. The AC works well, the apartment is kept very clean, there's lots of closet space, and the hot water in the shower is plentiful. It's also on a good beach that would be considered great in any other part of the world that didn't have to compete with places like coco plum beach, hooper's bay, and tropic of cancer beach. So overall, this was a perfect place to stay, and the best part was the hospitality from Betty, Oswald, and their family. Highly recommended!

Affordable Beachfront Great Hospitality!!
This was an amazing find!! Perfect little place with absolutely amazing hospitality! I loved that this was away from the town and was very quiet it was close to my favorite beach! (coco plum) We got a wonderful delicious meal upon arrival. Fresh water showers! The amazing beach this rental sits on can not be beat, its perfect for swimming and walking along the beach. I sat on the patio every single morning with my coffee watching the sunrise! This property is a must! I feel like we made friends for life with the whole Nixon family. The only thing i suggest is getting a car because it is further out of town. Thank you Nixon family :)
