"We went to Exuma searching for quiet, and we found it! The Exuma Palms, despite being right on the Queen's Highway, was very quiet and relaxing. The ocean view was great from even our ground-level room, the room was very clean, and the beds reasonably comfortable. However, be sure to have a car if you stay here. We had to walk on the edge of the rural highway in the dark for 2/3 of a mile to find the nearest open restaurant. The Exuma Palms recently changed ownership, and the new owners are working to bring it back, but as of February 2026 there were still a lot of needs. There was a pile of lumber and some work completed, but no work was done during the week we were there. Of the two stairways to the beach, both were difficult for my wife to navigate after her knee surgery last year. Cracked plaster and corroded metal work continued the theme of neglect. The trash dumpster overflowed all week. We never saw the pool cleaned or the deck taken care of; items were left for days until we cleaned them up ourselves. Lounge chairs had broken bolts and were ready to fall apart. The room included a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, but no coffee nor even cups. I don't know if the water is drinkable, but it was hard to find bottled water outside the restaurant. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, only a window opening to the hall. Our room was never cleaned or our trash taken out. The restaurant, however, was very nice, and the service there excellent."

"We stayed for 5 days, it was breathtakingly beautiful, the villas are spacious and gorgeously decorated. The staff (literally everyone ) was beyond kind ! Paul specifically was such a welcoming staff member and had such a good energy!! Thank you thank you thank you !! 🙏 We will 1000000% be coming back and I HIGHLY recommend. The food also is honestly pretty delish!! It was expensive but shouldn’t be a surprise if you do your travel research (the island generally has expensive food a average meal for 2 is about MIN 60$ starting ) however it was all fresh and very tasty. If you’re a hummus fan I recommend that cause it’s mouthwateringly good !! Wonderful overall Thank you so much "

"Hideaways is a perfect little spot for relaxation! They have everything you need - kayaks, pool, shuttle to Georgetown, walk out to the beach and several places to eat close by. The staff was wonderful and everyone was so welcoming! We will definitely be back! "

"Views are amazing from the deck and porch. Nice steps going to upstairs loft beds. We had two couples and no children and it was plenty of space. It was great to also have a washer/dryer. "

"Amazing stay for my husband and I! The house is great, restaurants in walking distance, Jolly Hall beach is in walking distance and is one of the prettiest beaches. You have access to the resort which was great especially since we could borrow kayaks and paddle boards. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. Great stay overall, I highly recommend it! "

"Beautiful place, but nothing works. The location is lovely. The beach is lovely. The pool was lovely. But you can’t get in and out of the doors. Washer works in one side but you have to carry wet laundry outside and around to the other side of the house if you want to put it in the dryer. If you’re staying on one side of the house, you have to go outside and around or through someone’s bedroom or someone’s bathroom in order to get into the other side of the house. There were no screens on the doors or there were holes in the screens of the doors. Luckily, my husband brought duct tape and he was able to fix ours. Couldn’t control the fans when we first got there because there were no batteries in the remote control. We had family in both villas and if you wanted to use your bathroom, you had to go all the way around the house to get to it. Because the doors didn’t open! One brother had to sleep on the hide a bed which was extremely uncomfortable and there was only one shade, so his room was exposed the whole time. We go to the Caribbean every year but this house was annoying & disappointing."
