Lovely and quiet, the spa was great but the rooms I found a bit basic as in no dressing gowns no coffee or sugar and no bathroom essentials

Very disappointing stay
As we arrived there was not hot water for a shower. The next morning before an important meeting, still no hot water. The AC worked poorly, the beds slid appart and the pillows were old, worn, clumpy and uncomfortable. The breakfast was also very disappointing and the bar were missing key ingredients to make drinks. The pool was cold, non heated and it was full of leaves and contamination.

Restaurant food and drinks were over priced including the breakfasts. My partner had chops all bone and no meat vegetables were not cooked and very limited. Salmon over cooked to dry no sauce. Cheesecake tasted like cake no sauce very dry. Service appalling had to wait 5 minutes before we were shown a table. No 'good evening or how are you today' bad manners all round. Made it clear that only local residents were welcome and not foreigners. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Would like a refund as had to go and eat somewhere else as we were still hungry.

No electric for 12 hours and no water for 30 hours. No use of spa and had to use my friends hotel for a shower! Shocking place!

Disappointed but probably go again.
We've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last 7 years. Sadly, this time, it wasn't so good. Because of an air conditioning leak and they couldn't get an engineer (a Friday afternoon) we had to move rooms. As we weren't told they couldn't repair it until 22.00 and there was no one available to assist us, it took us until after midnight to pack and then unpack in the new room. They initially tried to actually downgrade us because they were fully booked but eventually we were given a slightly better room. Additionally, quite unbelievably, we intended to eat in their restaurant but when we ordered our main course (lamb chops) we were told they didn't have any! We ealked out and ate at a bar 50 metres away and they had lamb chops! The foregoing marred our stay but overall we ended up enjoying ourselves.

This was a return visit and sure we will stay again, nice clean, well located hotel. The pool was empty/not in use but would have been too cold to use. Staff are great only minor issue was lack of hot choices for breakfast and what was available wasn't replenished snd qas cold.

Lovely hotel, very pretty grounds. We only stayed one night passing through, however check in is 4 pm, pool closed at 7 pm and did not open until 11 am the next day and we had to check out by noon, so we were not really able to use facilities. Would have been nice to have pool area open until nine

Nice but not great
The hotel is modern and exceptionally clean. That cleanliness is maintained in all interior areas. On arrival we were told we were being given a room with a balcony and a pool view, that was a joke. The balcony was only wide enough to stand alone on, no seat would fit on it. The view was ruined by a canopy over the terraced area just below the pitiful balcony. There was no view of the pool. The room was cleaned every day but the walls are so thin every function carried out in any of the rooms around it. The flushing of toilets, coughing, shouting, talking were easily heard. A raucous bunch of people spent until 3am on the terrace with no attempt to quite them. No sleep was possible, and even conversation from that area felt like it was in the same room. The restaurant though impressive served very average food in the evening. The staff were lovely, one problem we had was quickly resolved. The hotel itself is located in a nice area and though there are a few bars and restaurants locally the main entertainment strip is a good 40 minutes walk away. Pool area looks nice but some of the sun loungers need replacing, starting to fall apart. Wouldn't do any harm to have someone walk around the pool in the morning and pick up the various empty drinking cups and cans

We stay here at least once every year. Hotel and quality is always the same and reception staff always helpful. Breakfast has plenty of choice, our room was very good a bit of a long walk to get there and a bit too hot. We will returning again later in the year.
