Super cute house with all the amenities anyone would need for a short or a long stay. Stephanie is a great host and answers all questions very quickly.It is a very comfortable house, with comfortable beds. We only used one bedroom, but the house is big enough to comfortably accommodate a large family.So close to the beach! And it is close to town where there is a grocery store, a McDonalds, and other restaurants.A nice back yard and fencing for dogs and kids.It was a quiet stay and we would stay there again.

The house was wonderful, it was clean, well stocked and exactly as described. It was close to the beach and the downtown area. The backyard was really nice and private. There was lots of bedding and towels. The owner responded very quickly with any questions. loved our stay.

Perfect location

This property was the perfect way to return to my childhood hometown as an adult. My kids and I felt right at home. Everything we wanted to do or see was within a few minutes walk or drive. Our hosts did an excellent job at solving the few problems that came up. Can’t wait to visit again!

The rental home was so nice and the newer bathrooms were a plus! There was plenty of room for a large family. Location was great - just a block and a half to the beach. Lots of room to park vehicles too. We loved it

My family and I loved this rental. My kids enjoyed having their own space in the upstairs loft area. It was clean, cozy, had a good size yard, and was just a short walk to lake Huron where we spent most of our evenings swimming and collecting rocks.

Nice stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy house! The house has very easy access to beautiful Lake Huron parks and sites. The house-owner was very gracious and available. The floor plan allowed for much privacy, as we were a group of four senior adults. We appreciated easy parking, the back deck and nice living spaces. We hope to come back soon!!

The best beaches and hiking

My daughter and I spent the best week in Rogers City. We checked in to a perfect place to stay, clean, well stocked and a great area. Hiking was a half a block away and the beaches were just gorgeous! Everything was within walking distance! Resturants, bakery, ice cream and a candy store! Thank you so much for having us and we do plan to come again next year.

Great, comfortable and clean home

We came up to rock hunt. Spent most of our time on the beaches. It was nice having a home base to make our trip easy and stress free! I would highly recommend staying here. The only downfall is the bed. Not very comfortable and small. Left the owner a rock we found.

Great Family Stay

We have family in the Rogers City area and this home was a great central base for us to visit relatives and take advantage of the lake and downtown. The listing was accurate and parking very convenient. The host was very responsive and helped us a great deal during our stay. My elderly aunt and mom are already talking about next year. Our only wish would be for handrails on the porches and possibly in the bathroom, but we know not everyone needs to worry about these issues.

Family gathering

Clean, nice house close to the beach. Good size back yard. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The house has a lots of space for being so small. The extra sitting area upstairs was a bonus. We could have used one more comfortable chair in the living room to be able to seat 4 adults comfortably. There was definitely room for it. I would rent this place again.

Cozy Little House

Wonderful experience!!! My first time using a VRBO and I had questions that Stephanie responded to quickly. I traveled with my 2 dogs so the fenced in yard was a big plus. The house was nicely decorated. Ceiling fans kept the air moving as it did get quite warm after the rain. Close to Lake Huron and a couple of beaches. I am ready to plan my return for next summer!!!!!!

Just perfect!

I simply could not be happier with our rental and our experience! The owner was easy to reach and very friendly. The house was just the right size for our family, and everything was just as described. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the upstairs game room was perfect for kids to play out from under foot. Plenty of room for electronic gaming and toys too. The back yard was perfect for romping around, and the fenced in area was roomy and perfect for backyard camping with cousins. We had a small issue with a burned out light bulb on the stairs that was handled quickly. The owner was easy to reach and very friendly. It was a really pretty place with lovely decorations. It was comfortable and felt like home away from home. I will definitely be renting this lovely place again!

Vrbo Review: Cozy Lake House ( Roger City, Michigan) October 2024. The cozy cottage is a perfect vacation home for a family with children and/or teenagers. The main bedroom is on the first floor. The second level has 2 small bedrooms and media/ separate media center or living room. It's enough space to keep the family happy. The hostess, Stephanie, has stocked the cupboards, cabinets, drawers and closets with all necessities from dishes, cups, glasses, pots and pans coffeemakers, tea kettles, utensils, cleaning products, shampoos, toiletries, dishwasher, washing machine..... It's more than a home away from home! The location of the house is near the main street and highway. The Lake Huron coastal beaches and parks are nearby for your enjoyment. However, if inclement weather warrants indoor activities, internet, cable and streaming services are available. The TV console is stocked with games, puzzles, books etc... The house is very clean. If at any point, there are concerns, the hostess is very accessible via VRBO messages. The problems are resolved within a reasonable time. As an older home over 60 years, there have been some updates in the 2 main bathrooms and main bedroom. Overall, the hostess has charmingly decorated the house. Our autumn vacation was a warm, positive and restful experience. I look forward to another season possibly next summer.
