Over all not bad just minor concerns. Smoke detector hanging from the ceiling. Shower curtain full of rips and holes. Furniture was dirty, stained and ripped up. Holes in the wall.

Was close to the venue but hotel is old and run down. The ceiling fan in the bathroom was disgusting, the heater was filling off the wall, the wall paper in many places is coming off the wall.

The property was clean enough but the linens are very dated. The towels are threadbare and don’t appear clean anymore, the pillows seem ancient and the bed sheets dingy. The staff and service were fine.

Thanks Margaret for the review. The linens are washed with 4 different types of detergent and we change them out constantly. Thanks for letting us know and we will look into it. Thanks for saying the staff and service was good. Have a great 2024!

Front desk attendant would rather be in a back room playing his games than be available for guests. When I complained about the condition of the room I was treated like a liar. The shower squealed loudly and there was barely enough hot water making for a bad shower. Toss pillows on the couch we’re torn. Bed skirt so wrinkled it was unrecognizable. Food scraps on the floor beside the garbage can. The carpet so stained and dirty I didn’t want to take my shoes off. Next morning we left and the same clerk couldn’t figure a refund and seemed uninterested in trying to do so. Only saving grace is the manager phoned a few hours later to give the refund. Now waiting to see if it actually happens.

This hotel is really showing its age... silicone around sinks not done well needs paint job ..thin stained towels.. plug ins that don't work. dirty old lamp shades.. bathroom door not clean

This was rated as 8.3 very over rated. We would give it a 4. Very old, musty, run down definitely needs a major upgrade! The pictures of the place were probably taken 20 years ago. Very deceiving!

This was a 8.6 rating “not” two people doing everything, laundry, housekeeping, and check in. The staff was very friendly. We were first put into a room with some light problems so they moved us to another room which was better but you kept the curtains drawn as the view looked like a junk yard. In the morning we went to what we thought was a continental breakfast but there was nothing set up so us and another couple went next door to eat. I do have to say though that the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would I recommend it, NO

This property is about as expected at the moderate price range. Heavy smell of cleaner when we entered the room - possibly to mask smoke ... was resolved quickly with A/C. There was a burned out light in the entry way but in fairness, we did not ask them to fix it so it was a bit dark for some tasks. The beds and linens and comfort were very good and we were just there to sleep so it met our purposes.

The room has a smell especially the washroom. It is clean but there’s a strong odour of urine. Either they need a stronger cleaning solution or it’s saturated the surrounds of the bowl. Otherwise it has a comfortable bed and table with two chairs that guests can actually eat in if they choose to do so.

Unfortunately I will not be returning to this hotel. Walking in to check in there was no one at the counter, and I had to use their phone to call someone to the desk (this was after calling them ahead of time to see if I could check in a bit early). Then after checking in no breakfast time was given, and the next morning when checking out the breakfast option, there was only cream and coffee out. I do not consider that to be breakfast. When my partner was getting into the shower they noticed black or dark hair all over the shower between the curtain and the tub, as well as an opened soap bar stuck to the side of the tub. The toilet was used and dirty as well, it didn't seem like the room or at least the bathroom was cleaned before our check in. When we checked out the breakfast options in the morning, we told the staff at the desk that the bathroom was not clean before our check in, and they said "Oh really? What room?" and we told them and no response. Not a great experience unfortunately.

The back side of the hotel looks over a junk yard: broken chairs and other garbage. It’s dated with plastic flowers and terrible decor in the lobby which is the first thing a person sees. No continental breakfast. Just coffee and tea.

Sorry Kevin if you didn't enjoy your stay. First time we had a bad review about the Beds but everyone as a different preference. We don't have alarm clocks in rooms anymore because most people use their phones but if you would have asked we could have given you one. And no we don't have breakfast but we do offer coffee and tea in the lobby.
