Enfield Cottage in North Carolina

  • With an extensive renovation just completed by an NC-Preservation-approved contractor, this spacious suite has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It is tastefully decorated to reflect the history of this quiet rural town, which was founded in 1740. We are located 10 minutes off I-95 and one hour from Raleigh. Come learn about our rich history , taste great peanuts, take a walk or bike ride around Medoc Mountain State Park, or just chill in this spacious entry-lock keypad suite till your next adventure

    The space
    The extensive renovations of this circa 1930s home, just completed in March 2020, are a nod to styles of the era. The NC-Preservation-approved contractor made conscious and strategic choices in keeping with the styles, trends, and availability of materials during this time period. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer as well as basic dishes, flatware, coffee maker, and gadgets. Dining space is provided in the kitchen around the peninsula, which is an original feature of the home. Granite countertops have been added to provide a more up-to-date feeling. Bedrooms are furnished with comfy sheets, cozy comforters, fluffy pillows, and luxurious towels. In addition, each bedroom has a wall-mounted, smart TV. The full bathroom has a tub and shower. A smart TV is provided in the den along with comfortable seating for a great place for travelers to relax.

Great place to stay in Enfield!

Loved this property. A little off the beaten path but it worked for our weekend of volleyball in Rocky Mount. Area was very very quiet, too. The property was very clean and spacious for the 4 of us. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions.

Everything was just as described if not better!! Mrs. Julia and her husband Mr. James are great people. My stay was comfortable and everything that you would need to make it a home away from home was included... I will definitely be back!! If you are looking for a peaceful stay and to be surrounded by GREAT people look no further!!

Nice clean cozy spot .

Staying at this spot was well supplied, beds were super cozy and clean entry was easy in and out, very quiet location and the host was very friendly. Everything was up to date and the host was super nice. Will stay again.
