"The first day in out room, the toilet stopped up. My husband called the front desk and the guy told him to come get a plunger! The next day the toilet stopped up so my husband went to the front desk to get the plunger, and that lady looked horrified that my husband had to plunge it himself and she said she would send maintenance. We didn't have any trouble after that. It really is a very nice hotel. I'd stay there again."

"Once again, my husband and I had a great stay in Custer, SD for the second year. Grandma’s House is a fantastic place to stay. Vicki is a fantastic host. She is a great communicator and very concerned that her guests have a pleasant visit. The location is spectacular whether you are sightseeing at Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse or anything else or is you just want to hang out and relax. We travel with our two black labs and there is a beautiful back woods for us to walk with them early in the morning and in the evening for them to burn off some energy."

"This property was as advertised. So convenient to downtown Custer but still secluded and private. Beautiful view from the outside deck. The house was clean and full of games for entertainment. The host responded quickly to an issue we had with the WiFi and solved our issue immediately. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area."

"The pictures and description of this property match perfectly with what you actually get. Very nice open concept and great kitchen with everything you need. Really appreciate the little extras (garbage bags, extra paper towel, dishwasher detergent etc.) Bunk beds were great, and having the 2nd bedroom on the other end was nice to have a little distance. We did’t utilize the outdoor grill or small patio area, but when we pulled up 4 deer were sleeping right by the front door, it was a great welcome for our kids! The location of this property is what was the best part for us! Besides being across the street from a baseball field, playground, and 9 hole golf course, the downtown was great with plenty of food, and shops. Plus, every drive we took, whether to Custer State Park, Wildlife Loop, Needles Hwy, Sylvan Lake, Keystone, and Hot Springs was somewhere between 25-45 minutes from the house. Everything is so beautiful that you’ll love each drive. This house was perfect for everything we needed! Thank you!"
