What's nearby: This unit is located across from the shores of Moosehead Lake, giving you direct access to water activities at a shared launch, and majestic views of Mount Kineo. Dock details: The common dock can be accessed by crossing route 15 and walking down the dirt road of Rockwood Cottages to the water. Moosehead Condo Association and guests have access to 3 boat slips. Please note spaces are on a first come first serve basis, and can be busy in peak summer weeks. The public boat launch is 1 mile south in Rockwood Village. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Check in was super easy...no keys to lose, you just need the code. Cute set up however the carpets are light colored and look really dirty in the living room area and the unit had a very musty/mildew smell I'm guessing due to the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The next day I found loose brown substances (not a stain) on the pillow which I took a photograph of and a soiled, dry face cloth left in the shower. I texted house keeping for fresh linens and removal of the dirty ones and the towel and she responded over 24 hrs later saying she wasn't working the day and to text another person.
