Nice house on beautiful lake.

We had a great time. The home is laid out well and has everything we needed. It was nice to walk straight out to the beautiful clear lake. We relaxed, fished, grilled, boated, swam, and even took in the downtown area and restaurants. We plan to book again in the future.

Perfect spot
My family and I had a wonderful time staying here for my children’s spring break! Perfect Lake House close to Grand Rapids in a nice quiet neighborhood. We didn't get to enjoy the lake because of the reason for our stay and it was definitely not the time of the year for it. The places are beautiful, we stayed in both of his cabins for our wedding. The first night I was in the larger one the second night I went to the smaller cabin where my husband was. The night after rehearsal we all ended up at 1 of the cabins for a little while, then they kicked him out at 11:59. Haha it was big enough for 14 of us to visit in until we split again so he couldnt see me. Even since before I booked Brian was there to answer questions, when we didn't need as many to stay he was helpful in taking the amount of people that I booked (I booked full for both cabins) and making sure everything was great. I'd definitely stay again. Next time in warmer weather though to utilize all he has to offer. So clean and helpful! Thanks again Brian!

Fall weekend at a Michigan lake
Lake home in a lakefront association was very peaceful. We enjoyed kayaking, nice weather and grilling on the outdoor living space. It was quite accessible for our blind 93 year old and she was able to enjoy the family event without needing stairs.

The property was perfect for our lake vacation! The home is right on the lake. The rooms are clean. The bathroom has great water pressure and hot water. Everything we needed was right there. My daughter loved all the sand toys. I loved have a kayak, paddle board, and sitting out near the water in the morning and evening. We had a wonderful stay!

This property was amazing. Our Family of 6 spent a few days here before our kids were returning to college for the year. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay, the water was clear, we had a fire every night at the house came equipped with all the water toys the older kids could want. We paddle boared and kayak in the morning. Brian has really thought of everything for this vacation rental. I can not recommend this property enough, I may want to keep it a little secret place.

Everything in one place
This location is ideal for both water fun, work, and relaxing. We relocated for the last week of summer vacation and while I worked, the kids (ages 10 and 12) were able to paddle board, paddle boat, and kayak around the lake -- it is big enough to be enjoyable, but small enough to always have your eye on them. The outdoor amenities (water toys, fire pit, grill) and all the indoor amenities (wifi, TV, full kitchen) made it so you had everything you could possibly need. This was perfect.

What a peaceful and relaxing place to be! We kayaked in the morning, took walks through the lovely neighborhoods, had dinner and wine on the deck, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lake is clean and clear, neighbors are kind and the house has everything you need. I have stayed in a lot of VRBOs and Brian is number one as the most accommodating and gracious host. He makes you feel like you are his only guest. Thank you!

Great family vacation
We booked this for a family get away for Fourth of July week and it was perfect. The lake view, the house, the neighbors, the owner were all amazing. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, Brian the owner was the best. He made everything simple and checked in on us and was just an overall great host. Highly recommend. The house had everything we needed down to pots, pans, towels, soaps, dishes, utensils, etc. paddle boat, boards, kayaks, life vests, fire wood, grill and we even got to enjoy the pontoon boat. Such a great vacation and we will definitely go back. Plus the neighbors were so nice to talk with and were really sweet to our children. Thank you Brian for an amazing week.

Beautiful property , lovely location.
This property is spacious, clean and comfortable. I have stayed in self catering accommodation in quite a few countries and have never found one so generously equipped with staples and kitchenware etc. The outside space was also very well designed, we loved the deck, grill and the pontoon boat. We were very lucky with the weather and had a lovely break. Will come back next year if possible.

The property and check in was great. We stayed in late October so weather didn't allow for getting in the lake but imagine it would be great on a nice summer day. Only 20-30 minutes from Grand Rapids downtown as well.

We couldn't get the heat to turn on, unfortunately the weather was unexpectedly cold, but we decided to deal with the chill in the air, rather than contact the property manager, we just wanted to enjoy our little get away uninterrupted. Overall, it was a nice little vacation spot.

Perfect Lake Vacay
My husband and our two kids had a wonderful week enjoying lake life. The cottage was exceptionally clean and did not have the typical "cottage" smell. Silver Lake was a perfect size for kayaking and paddle boarding, and we all enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the water. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return again next year!

Amazing beach front property
Myself, my wife, and two little kids (age 4 and 2) recently stayed at this property and it was great. The house itself was very clean and organized with labels on the drawers and cabinets. However, the back yard was the best part of it all. The patio is great with plenty of seating and a nice Weber grill. We utilized the fire pit every night as well. The water was right there with a perfect beach for our kids. The water was extremely clear and shallow for our kids to play in. They had no trouble walking in and out of the water as the sandy bottom was extremely soft. There are plenty of sand toys included on the property as well. We also rented the pontoon boat which we used plenty to cruise around the lake. The communication with Brian was effortless and he was always quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

Just the right size home for our family (4 adults / 3 children). The house was clean when we arrived. Well stocked. Cabinets and light switches were all labeled. Owner was very responsive. Lots of fun water toys were there for us to use (kayaks, stand up paddle boards, paddle boat). Downtown Rockford was close by and worth visiting. Not too far from Grand Rapids. Would stay there again!

Had a great time at this house! We had 6 adults, 2 kids under 5 and an infant and we had enough room for all of us! We never ran out of things to do with all the water and lawn ‘toys’! And would recommend renting the pontoon boat. Loved our sunset cruises! Neighbors were great! Even though the houses are close, we felt we were by ourselves most of the time. This is our happy place
This was the second year we stayed at this cottage and we absolutely loved it.My kids especially loved having their own private beach. One of my favorites was using the paddle board in the morning when the water is crystal clear and you can see all the way to the bottom. They have an amazing fire pit too. Don't hesitate to rent this cottage.

My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting our son and daughter-in-law and the grandchildren. It was the perfect place to hang out during the day with swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. In the evening we enjoyed making smores at the firepit and going for sunset cruises. The view is great and the yard is very well designed with lots of areas to sit and relax. We only used the bedroom on the main floor. The bed was very comfortable. The adjoining bathroom looked like it had been recently updated and was very spacious with two sinks and a large shower. The kitchen was large and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next year.

A wonderful vacation week with three generations of our family!
We were so happy that we were able to book this” last available summer week” last fall after the long months of Covid and staying at home. It truly was a wonderful reprise from the world and all that was going on! The week included a set of grandparents, their daughter/son in law along with their 10 month old grandson. We live in two different states but chose this rental as a great midway meeting point and because the area offers the “typical Midwestern summer lake vacation” which we were anxious to share with our British son in law and new grandson. The house is perfect in so many ways. It is supplied with everything you might need from water toys to kitchen needs, beach towels to the detergent, fans to sunscreen,etc. Our family has rented numerous properties around the world and this property has it all. We literally never left the house other than being in the pontoon boat, the lake or for a walk. The house was perfect for three generations as there was enough space for all and also for my grandson’s playpen and portable crib. We cooked every meal together and the various boats gave my daughter and son in law a chance to go out and enjoy themselves while grandma and grandpa babysat. The only thing you need to bring are your clothes and your food as everything is provided. We made the mistake of bringing things like paper products,detergent,beach towels,etc. and did not need to. Brian, the owner is quick to respond whether it was a question during reserving it to providing more gas for the pontoon. We would highly recommend renting the pontoon boat which is an extra cost but well worth it as it gives you a chance to explore this incredibly clean and beautiful lake! The rental includes kayaks, paddleboats and a pedal boat which are all great fun and add to your lake experience. The fire pit provided great conversations at night along with some interesting star gazing. The neighbors on either side of the house are permanent residents and are friendly and helpful. The house has been totally redone including a great kitchen and bathrooms which makes it a great place to be even on a rainy day. This is a great rental to reconnect with your family and nature! Whether it is a cup of coffee watching the sunrise or a glass of wine at sunset, you will be happy you rented here!

Awesome place for a summer vacation
The lake house is wonderful. We loved the deck, fire pit area, and quick access into the lake. We felt very safe letting our children (8 and 6) walk out and play in the water while we were right in the kitchen or out on the porch reading and relaxing. We would highly recommend this place for many reasons.

We really enjoyed staying here. Gorgeous location on the lake with all of the things we needed to feel at home. Temperatures upstairs were a little bit harder to control as is quite common. The coffee pot took quite a while to brew so we bought K-cups and used that machine. For 7 people it worked really well for a weekend, but it might be a bit cozy in wintertime for a weeklong stay. Great communication with friendly owner. Internet worked well.

Cozy Lake House Getaway
