"Was put in an extended stay room. Very Nice. The construction going on makes it difficult to get to any where. I kept getting lost. "

"We have stayed at White Pines cabins for many years and love it. We especially go during the week and in the off-season - we practically have it all to ourselves. The meals at the lodge are always plentiful and delicious (we bought a whole peach cobbler to take home, it was so good!). The beds are comfortable, the gas fireplace makes it very cozy. There's a small fridge, but no microwave (no cooking in the cabins). And the firepits outside are welcoming to small gatherings. We've been there in different seasons and both the heat and a/c work well. The only drawback is that the shower is rather small for my 6'4" and hefty husband. There are many very walkable trails; even one for those with disabilities. Children can play in a small play area (swings and a crickly slide). Over near the tent camping area are a couple fords where you can splash and cool off in the water. There are a few local restaurants we like to frequent. Whenever we return to White Pines, it's like coming home."

"The house was as described, and perfect for our family getaway. The location was close to the banquet facility we had an event at. The house was pretty clean, however there was only bottom sheets with comforters on the beds, no top sheets, which we all found strange. "

"Apartment was clean, down to earth (literally, lol...semi-basement apartment, but totally comfortable and plenty of air and light), both furnished and kitchen stocked with the basics, neighborhood was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Considering the sketchy reviews of hotels in the area and that the only dependable one was the Holiday Inn (which charges *Chicago* rates), this was an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!"
