Fantastic Family Stay
My wife and four year old had a wonderful winter experience staying here. The theme of the room was a life at the beach with shells that made us enjoy our two day stay. I would recommend anyone staying here. It was the kind of experience that if I ever came back to Rochester this would be the main place that I would stay. We really had an incredible time.

Loved the place; would stay again!
This house had that cozy, antique, nostalgic feel that's so characteristic of upstate NY. It was beautifully decorated and clean, and the owners were friendly, accommodating, and answered my questions over text very promptly. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever visiting the area! I'm also amazed that 9 of us 30/40-something-year-olds in our mixed-gender group managed to share 1 bathroom w/no difficulty!
This is our 2nd stay at the property and we enjoyed our time. So much so we're hoping to book it again very soon. It was easy to stay in contact with the owner, there were plenty of kitchen supplies, the temperature of the property was comfortable. Only suggestions I might add is a small curtain on the upstairs door, a can opener and that's really it that I can think of now. Again this was our 2nd stay and it will not be our last. p
We were thankful that we were able to stay at a home that was close to an event my daughter needed to be at. We only had drive about 6 min. I was neverous about parking but it all worked out. If i had any questions or concerns they where great with getting them answered or quick to help in any way. I would recommend this place for a good place to go to events like the strong museum. Most popular grocery's stores where about 15 min. Which i thought was not bad to get to walmart or target. If want eat put they have alot choice to drive to!
We had an amazing stay at thia location. We were a family of 10 but we were comfortably. The hoat was amazing. She replied quickly with any questions or concerns. Kitchen was stocked with different kinds of utensils, pots, plates, and cups. There were plenty of clean fresh towels and sheets. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the early mornings and late evenings. There is a playground down the street and toys are provided on the inside. The host was great at informing us about any issues in the surrounding areas. Parking was great. We had a lovely time and looking forward to ataying again when we are in Rochester.
The home was very and the host offered amazing communication. For the price paid it was an amazing value. I am planning a return trip in the spring. This host will definitely be getting my first consideration on a place to stay.
Wonderful place to stay, great communication. This was such a lovely place to be!

Spacious apartment in city
Our host was great at communicating before and during our stay. Check in was easy and the apartment was just as described. The mattresses are very firm but if you don’t mind that then for a large family it’s great to have a bed for everyone plus a living area to hang out.

Mostly clean rooms, shotty kitchen, loud floorboards, very hard and uncomfortable beds. Cramped spaces, bugs all over, no shower soap, odd smell, dirty chairs outside, got locked out while using the hot tub which we weren’t told about until day before so we had to buy swimwear to enjoy it. Hot tub was nice, apologies if we didn’t leave it how we found it.
Carrie gets the 5 stars she was amazing and so accommodating! We had a place to stay in Buffalo the night before we were coming to Rochester, late in the day they canceled on us and there were no hotel rooms. Carrie let us in early and kept us from being homeless several thousand miles away from home and with children.

Connie was fantastic. However…the whole place needs a deep cleaning. Shower curtain was covered in soap scum. Dirty walls can be taken care of by painting. Everything should be wiped down. Trash can was filthy. Sorry for the bad review but others need to know. Will not stay there again. Linens were old.
Beautiful home! Close to the strong museum of play and a amazing playground just a couple blocks away

Great, nostalgic, funky, colourful dream house.
I loved everything about this place's tropical, colourful aesthetic. We had a wonderful stay, and even curtailed some of our days just to come back and decompress on the fabu, 70s-chic lounger. The only downside there was was we had difficulty communicating - our fault - as our phones would not work in the USA. Would book it again in a heartbeat.

Not bad
I feel if you pay to stay here you should get free use of the drive way and not have to swap your car back and forth from one side of the street to try an avoid a 50 dollar parking ticket . Other than that the stay wasn’t bad
It was convenient to oak hill country club, it was clean, no cat smell when got upstairs , beds were a little too firm and pillows not good, definitely bring own pillows, overall it was very good for the amount of time spent there basically just to sleep. Host was easy to reach and helpful .

Let’s be honest, I was expecting an old-age house, but more than that, the place is really dirty. The bathroom has a disgusting floor and tub, the kitchen has loose tiles on the countertop, the stove was greasy, and the carpets are really old, dirty, and smelly. By the way, the entrance and the stairs at the main entrance are covered in dust and haven’t seen a vacuum in years. In addition, the smell of wet dog is terrible. The backyard is not well maintained, with lots of construction debris, and the chairs around the fire pit are just disgusting. The neighborhood is really scary — groups of teenagers smoking in the playground area, lots of drugged people walking around, and the houses all look very similar, which makes it feel like a poor area. But let’s be honest, it might be economically standard for people living in Rochester. Price-wise, we paid the same as we did in other places that were way better, so maybe that’s just the standard for Rochester — but if it is, then it was definitely my last time in Rochester.

Needs a deep clean
The host was nice and reached out before we were to arrive. Unfortunately the apartment needs a really deep clean. There was a dirty sock in the kitchen, mouse poop all over, under the beds were dirty, and there was dry blood on a comforter. The worst part was the hair that was on the wall and soap in the shower. The neighborhood was rough, but that’s no fault of the owners.
