The weather was beautiful. We had the whole hotel to ourselves and the service we experienced was fantastic. The nearby restaurants are better than the hotel kitchen, but cant complain at all. Excellent part of Italy and less crowded than further down the coast." We were there the first week of October and our rooms were warm. When we asked they told us it had not been turned on and they would do so. After going back and forth a few times we were told they just turned on the blower because in the ‘winter’ they don’t have AC. We did not have this issue traveling in Italy for over 25 days. It was strange and felt like they did not want to just tell us that from the beginning. Otherwise the hotel was lovely appointed."
