"Very good experience. Not as nice a room as we expected from the photos, but reasonable for the price and location. The hotel probably has nicer rooms, I think we were in one of its least expensive rooms. Older hotel but clean room, good amenities, good-sized bathroom. King bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator was noisy briefly once in a while. The only chair in the room was not comfortable for long sitting. Two rockers per room on covered walkway between rooms are a nice touch, although there’s not much to look at, mostly parking lot — that seemed to be true of most of the hotels in the historic area. Comfortable shared covered deck area off the main office, room for a medium sized party. Easy walk on sidewalk to the shopping district, restaurants, and a lovely kid-friendly city park with plenty of benches. We really enjoyed the park. I would not choose this hotel for a romantic getaway, but it was a nice room for staying while visiting the area. We plan to go again."
