You can immerse yourself in the multicolored universe of its Saturday market and have access to all the local products. By visiting its rum factory, established since 1749, you can taste the best AOC rums and liquors with multiple flavors. You can then go to Anse figuier beach, very close to the town, and one of the best baths. Do not forget to visit the ecomuseum, retracing all of Native American and colonial history. But being in Rivière-Pilote, you will be at the crossroads of the most beautiful beaches in the South: Marin, Sainte-Anne, Le Diamant or Les Anses d'Arlet. L'Etang des Salines, located at the southern tip of Martinique (in Sainte Anne), is an extraordinary site, with its coastal forest, its salt flats and its mangrove, it forms an exceptional and preserved natural ensemble, unique in Martinique . 97 hectares are now protected by the Conservatoire du littoral and specially equipped for visitors. Il a toujours été là quand on avait besoin. La maison est top, nous étions 8, on était super bien dans la maison y’avais tout à notre disposition. Erick nous avait même laissé quelques courses ce qui nous a d’ailleurs bien aider. Logement calme avec beaucoup d’espaces. Notre location de 28 février au 17 mars chez Erick était des plus agréable. Rien ne manquait et tout était nickel. La literie très confortable et des draps de rechange à notre disposition. La cuisine spacieuse et lumineuse. La maison, entièrement rénovée, se situe dans un cadre verdoyant très reposant. Erick est à votre écoute et se rend disponible si besoin. Nous n’etions pas trop éloignés des plages, notamment l’anse du figuier. Nous avons fait de belles balades au nord de l’ile. Les petits-enfants étaient ravis et nous également. The owner is very friendly and helpful also with things which aren't related to the apartment. We have also got to know with interesting neighbors and eaten together. If you are keen on learning about authentic martinican culture and people, this place is brilliant for it. You will get your own time and peace if you want it, though. The apartment itself is very clean and the kitchen well-equipped, too. Beds are big and comfortable and AC in the bedroom helps a lot! We are scandinavian, used to a bit cooler nights... The only one minus is that the apartment is quite far away from the nearest town/the beach which means that the car is MUST. (well, the car is MUST anywhere in this island). Il ne manque rien du confort moderne dans la cuisine, ni dans le salon (Tv écran plat, internet). Nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans cette location, ou le propriétaire est des plus sympa. Je vous recommande cette adresse car bien placer sur la carte martiniquaise, belles plages à proximité. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermes. ---
