Sands Motel

10/10 Excellent

"Room was as advertised. Was very clean. Pillows and bed were comfortable. Fridge and microwave are convenient. Shower had decent water pressure and water temp reach hot very quickly and lasted throughout my showers. However, I rated amenities as 4/5 because AC took a while to cool compared to other hotels I've been to. It eventually got to my desired room temperature but took a about an hr. Possibly due to how hot the day (and therefore room) was due to AC understandably not being on when I arrived. Also, there were no easily accessible outlets for my phone charger. Had to move the bed and unplug light to use that outlet. Other than those slight issues. Everything else was as advertised and as good or better than expected."

"Wonderful stay. The jacuzzi “ special chair for handicap persons “ did not work properly this visit. We think the battery was not charged or faulty. However, the pool experience was nice. Consider bringing towel to the poolside as the towels get used up quickly. ."
