"This is a beautiful little cottage which was perfect for a 2-night stay visiting friends in Ilkley. There were 3 of us and we had a room each (2 bedrooms and 1 had the sofa bed in the living room). Very comfortable and clean, and the whole process was very smooth and easy - our hosts were fantastic, leaving milk in the fridge and homemade chocolate muffins on our arrival. The hot tub is wonderful - very easy to use. The parking is very close, and having a coffee shop literally two steps away over the cobbled street was fantastic. Will definitely stay again."

"Under new management and not fully staffed as yet. Staff were lovely, friendly and friendly helpful. Bar was reasonably stocked but very expensive. A bottle of red wine was £29. Disappointed that the kitchen is permanently closed so no cooked breakfast. A breakfast hamper of cereals, fruit and yogurt instead"

"Absolutely fab! Great location, lovely details that made us feel so special. We were only there for 2 nights but wish we’d been there longer. Very close to Bolton Abbey, and lovely walks near the house. We took our dog and kids, the kids thought we were in a magic house, it was so beautiful. Comfy beds, lovely and clean. The hosts were incredibly helpful and pointed us in the direction of fun things to do in the area. Felt like a home from home and were planning to visit in the Summer holidays. Can’t recommend enough :)"

"Acorn Cottage was the perfect choice. Warm and cosy and it is in a delightful setting with fabulous views to the front and perfectly located for many of Yorkshire attractions such as Grassington and Kettlewell. I had a delightful stay and was sorry to leave. The cottage was spotlessly clean and has all that you would require in facilities for a perfect and restful stay. Susanne and Peter were most welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. They both assisted me above and beyond when I had a problem regarding my hire car and made every effort to help me resolve the issue. I could not have found a better cottage for my stay and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday cottages in the Skipton area."
