There is an apartment on each of three floors. We were in the lowest, "Fleurs de Coton" which is a large comfortable apartment well equipped with household appliances, and fully modern laundry facilities are conveniently located on the ground floor. In cool weather, heating is convenient and efficient. Wi-Fi reception is very good. The house is on a quiet courtyard a short picturesque lane's walk away from the main street of Riquewihr. Several good restaurants are a short walk away. Parking (with a daily permit which the landlord obtains for tenants at a very modest charge) is less than 100 metres away. The landlord and landlady are friendly, welcoming and helpful, are quite quickly available in case of need despite not living in Riquewihr, and are multilingual. Op steenworp afstand van de hoofdstraat van het prachtige Riquewihr staat dit huis in originele Elzasser stijl. De bijzonder aardige en behulpzame eigenaren verhuren 3 ruime etage’s. Onze etage ‘Fleurs de coton’ is romantisch ingericht en geschikt 4 (evt 6) personen. Twee ruime 2 persoons slaapkamers, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en een woonkamer waarin wordt getafeld en gerelaxt. Badkamer is niet groot maar zeer netjes afgewerkt. Ondanks de zeer warme temperaturen buiten bleef onze etage (1e verdieping), opvallend koel. Mitten in Riquewihr, aber trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen, haben wir den Urlaub sehr genossen. In ein paar Schritten war man mitten im Trubel oder aber im ruhigen Weinberg mit Blick auf den Ort und das Rheintal. Colmar und Straßburg waren schnell zu erreichen. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Dans le gîte, tout est beau, tout est pensé....Hypercalme alors que la rue principale aux abords est engorgée de touristes.....Le gîte est magnifique, le village est féerique....Les propriétaires font tout ce qui est en leur pouvoir pour que le séjour soit parfait,avec un souci de propreté indéniable....Autour,il y a tout....Nous avons usité d'un très bon restaurant LA GRAPPE D OR!!!! Séjour très agréable au coeur de Riquewihr aux appartements de Louise, dans le gîte "Coquelicots". Accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires (transport des bagages, renseignements sur les bonnes tables du village ou des alentours ainsi que sur les curiosités à découvrir). Appartement très confortable, bien équipé, calme, idéalement situé, décoré avec goût, ce qui fait que l'on si sent bien. Great design throughout the apartment. Each bedroom has it's own shower and there's a shared toilet. Kitchen is great and opens on to the living room. Windows on three sides of the apt. allow for great cross-ventilation. We stayed during the 'busy' summer season but it was very quiet even with the windows open. Great location and they help with easy parking for guests. Most of all, our hosts were absolutely fantastic - so prompt with emails and so helpful when we met at check-in. Bien situé pour visiter tous les villages alsaciens, Strasbourg à Mulhouse. Entièrement rénovée avec soin et avec goût, nous avons été très satisfaits de ce séjour et particulièrement des attentions de Valérie envers nous tant à l'arrivée que pendant notre séjour. Spacieux et confortable, l'appartement "Fleur de coton" était d'une propreté remarquable et muni de tous les équipements et accessoires dont nous avions besoin. Nous avons cependant remarque plusieurs petites choses pratiques qui etaient enervantes et qu'on aurait ameliore par exemple il n'y a pas de mirroir dans les chambres; il n'y a nul part pour ranger les vetements dans la deuxieme chambre; il n'y a pas de bons couteaux pour cuisiner avec; la poubelle electrique ne marche pas et on aurait prefere une poubelle avec une pedale dans ce cas la, au lieu de devoir la toucher cheque fois. Couettes blanches,plaids douillets ,tissus épais . Tonalités de gris ,blanc, ivoire et rouge. Des fenêtres qui s'ouvrent sur le vignoble alsacien Un ensemble élégant qui concorde avec la gentillesse de l'accueil. Coup de cœur pour la vaste chambre aux boiseries peintes en gris perle. This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent 8 Jan 2014 #### Très bonne - appartement chaleureux Très bonne - appartement chaleureux, très bon accueil, espace rationnel agréable à utiliser au quotidien, tout en respectant et préservant le charme et la beauté d'une maison traditionnelle alsacienne de 400 ans, un véritable bond dans le temps ! Nous avons apprécié en particulier le coin repas très agréable en famille (touche DNA originale et sympathique), le coin salon qui nous a permis de faire de nombreux jeux de sociétés en famille (idée : mettre un ou deux jeux à dispo), les boiseries de la chambre principale sont magnifiques. Seuls petits détails que nous voyons à suggérer : surveiller le sèche serviette de la salle de bains (risque de surchauffe potentiel) + ajouter qqs ustensiles de cuisine (un presse citrons, voire un micro-ondes serait apprécié/un vrai plus). Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et n'hésiterons pas à le recommander !!
