The hotel has a classical feel with all the modern conveniences. The food is excellent in the restaurant. Had a afternoon tea set, dinner and breakfast. I was generally satisfied with the food(especially bread!) but wanted more variety of the breakfast buffet considering hotel fee. However, the garden made our family wow as it was greenery and flowers were beautiful. With a cool breeze, It was such a wonderful experience to enjoy the time at the garden. We loved the English charm of the hotel although hotel room was a bit older than I expected. It was generally well-kept and clean. The only concern was the shortage of hot water. You have to wait 20 minutes after other person finished shower, The water tank for hot water in each room was quite small so I couldn't enjoy the time in the bathtub even there is one!! This is a problem that really needed to be improved. Overall, I relaxed and had a wonderful stay in the Lakehouse although I think hotel fee is a bit pricey. I would probably visit this hotel again if I come to Cameron Highland next time. Glad we chose this hotel as there were no crowds or long queues to contend with even with full occupancy. Excellent afternoon tea & breakfast spread. Enjoyed our guided hike too! The hotel is located lower in the Highlands so the drive up was not bad even with holiday traffic. Es ist nicht unbedingt sehr Malaiisch ;-) Leider mussten wir unseren Aufenthalt vorzeitig abbrechen, aber die Zeit, die wir im Lakehouse verbracht haben, haben wir sehr genossen.
