"Sundance" was everything we needed: Exceptionally clean, perfectly quiet and peaceful, with wonderful views and a well-maintained hot tub, balcony, grill and fire-pit. The hosts were clear and communicative, and entry and exit was a breeze. Thank you, Derek and Olga, for such a lovely stay.
We absolutely loved Sundance! Perfect property for a couple wanting to reconnect. Great location and amenities were outstanding. I would highly recommend it.
My wife and I stayed at Sundance for our honeymoon in June 2024. Everything was perfect from checkin to check out. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay and definitely plan to revisit as soon as we can. Highly recommend stays here!
The cabin was simple yet very cozy! We loved how private the area was! The views off the balcony were stunning! During the day you have a beautiful view of the mountains and at night the you had a beautiful view of the stars! We also loved how we could see the view while sitting in the hot tub. We even had a deer come and visit us! I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone! We had a very nice time!
We loved our stay at Sundance! The property was super clean and exactly as pictured. It was a beautiful area and not too far from Skyline Drive. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. We would definitely recommend this property!
We absolutely loved our stay at Sundance for our honeymoon. The view and location were amazing. The place is better than we imagined. The host was great at communicating quickly for all our questions. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Definitely will be back!
Sundance had everything we needed for an escape from the madness. The view from the deck was particularly nice … next time we’ll try to book during a new moon to better enjoy the stars!
this place is just wonderful. my sister and i went for a few days. so beautiful and peaceful, i will always choose this or one of their other cabins! easy, clean, adorable! can't say enough! thank you so much!
"Sundance" was perfect for our long weekend with the dogs. The space was super clean and the view was fabulous! It was nice to walk down to the river and chill in hot tub to take in the mountain views and the sunset.
The power went out for a little bit on one of the days were there, and the owners were very responsive.
We can't wait to visit again!
My sister and I had a wonderful visit to the Sundance cabin. After spending the day at the Caverns and hiking it was a treat to come back to the spotless cabin and relax in the hot tub. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful to walk around in. We sat by the river for what seems like hours. We would highly recommend this home, the host and their other cabins we saw!
This was a perfect place to getaway for my husband, mutt Rocky and me. Isolated enough so the only sounds we heard were from nature, but an easy trip to pick up any supplies you might need. I loved that the huge deck facing the mountains was deep enough that when there was rain we were able to sit outside without getting wet and enjoy the storm. I also had the lovely experience of hummingbirds visiting me while sitting out on the deck enjoying morning coffee. Read the guest book when you arrive. A fun game of “find the dollar” has been played by former guests for years. I will definitely be looking for another chance to stay at Sundance. Maybe then I’ll find the dollar!
We have stayed at other Woodside properties and all are nicely outfitted, clean and in good locations. Temps were cold, but we missed the snow this time. Will be back.
The views were beautiful. Of course, we tried out the hot tub and enjoyed it. As usual, we didn't cook in, with all the neat local spots to eat, but the kitchen was fully ready. We traveled with a pet, which was welcome on the property, and a big plus in our selection. If we return we will try to spend some time on the water, which looked pretty inviting.
I was very much impressed by the experience we got during our 3 night stay at Sundance. The Cabin had just about everything we needed and was well kept. The bed was comfortable and the shower design was really nice. I don’t think you can find better views than what you’ll find at Sundance. It was a awesome retreat from the hustle and bustle of 9-5 office work. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be coming back again!
Secluded with a beautiful view of the valley at 781 feet up. Has everything you need to cook, decent portable stereo, tv. Reliable wifi. Lovely deck with hot tub. I will come back with my fishing pole in the summer to take advantage of the river access, a 1/2 mile walk from the cabin.
I recently stayed at this cabin for a weekend getaway, and it was nice—simple, cozy, and comfortable. The space was small but thoughtfully designed, with just the essentials you need for a relaxing stay. The cabin had a rustic charm and large windows that let in plenty of natural light, making it feel both airy and warm. One of the highlights was the outdoor space. The peaceful surroundings made for a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or relax in the evening. The location was quiet and serene, ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.Overall, this cabin might not have all the bells and whistles of a luxury retreat, but its simplicity and comfort make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a peaceful, low-key retreat in nature.
