Location we quiet and tranquill. Hot tub, five pit, and pool table made out time at the cabin enjoyable. Quiet comfortable location, 20 minutes to Front Royal, 30 to Thornton Gap via Luray. Views from the porch were stunning. WiFi worked great for the half day of office work. Had a fantastic stay. The house is lovely and well stocked. We loved the pool table. Didn’t use the hot tub- but it’s huge! The location was great- spent a few days enjoying Shenandoah and also went to Luray and Front Royal. The views from the house are amazing. It was nice to just relax at the house and take it all in. We had an amazing time at Lone Bear Cabin. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The HUGE hot tub was amazing, and we really appreciated Mark's proactive communication. He called us to let us know about a coming snow storm to make sure we had four wheel drive, had someone come out to the house before arrival to salt the outdoor space, and he was super responsive to our few questions. It's an easy place with plenty of info. If you are not hiking or paddling you will want to live on the deck, an incredible place for a cup of coffee in the early morning as the sun hits the mountains before the valley.
