"We were really pleased with this interesting looking hotel tucked in amongst the fabulous trees of Pyynikki. It's quite a dated, stylish building and it constantly felt like we were on a film set because of the style and decor of the place. It is brilliant. They have maintained the hotel very well and restored it with care and consideration. They clearly respect the original style of the place and so they should. The hotel is quiet, the room was cosy and clean and the staff are simply excellent. We borrowed bicycles from out front which we found to be in perfect working order as we took a tour around the lake. The breakfast buffet was superb. Very thorough. We ate an evening meal which was excellent. Hot showers with good pressure and very good AC in the room. Very happy. We'll stay there again I'm sure. Thank you."

"Hotel is centrally located, grocery store nearby and for us it was near the Herra Hakkarainen talo as well. We have a two year old and got a big room that provided not only infant travel bed but infant table and chairs. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great as well. It's a simple setup and older building, only drawback is no elevator + rooms are on upper floors. But it's perfect for what we needed. Parking in inner courtyard lot was fine too."
