It dominates the valley with the Pyrenees in the background. It is made of stone and has been renovated with a lot of charm and authenticity. Christine and Pascal will host you with a lot of care and kindness. Spend some days in peacefulness with family or friends in an absolutely calm environment. You can totally rest, enjoy the swimming pool, walk around in the surrounding countryside or even explore the cultural treasures of the Gers region. You can enjoy nature and see deer, boars, buzzards, hawks, coypus, etc. If you like horses, you will cuddle the ones on our domain. If you prefer golf, there are two famous courses nearby. In high season, enjoy the Country festival in Mirande, Salsa in Vic and Jazz in Marciac. Calmness and high-class comfort with an individual shower room, Wi-Fi access and a swimming pool. Horseback riders are welcome. The domain of Daran offers you 3 houses for 4 to 9 people that can be adjusted to your needs: from only one bedroom to a complete house with 3 or 4 bedrooms with independent shower rooms, a fully fitted kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, etc. The total capacity of the 3 houses, 3 guest rooms and a dorm rooms is 31 beds. The house presented below is "Courtils": Les Courtils has 3 bedrooms and 6/7 beds. This south-east facing house enjoys magnificent light thanks to the big picture window of the living room. It was constructed on the trellis of the tobacco dryer on the gable of the house. There is a living room of 38 m² with a fireplace and a fitted kitchen featuring an electric oven, induction plates, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Furthermore: a 10-m² bedroom with a double bed (2.00x1.60), a shower room of 4,70 m² with a shower, a washbasin, and a toilet; a bedroom of 10 sq.m. with a double bed (2.00x1.40); a shower room of 4,3 sq. m. with a shower, wash basin and toilet; a mezzanine of 11 sq.m. on the first floor with 2 adjacent beds (2.00x0.90) that gives access to the living room (with an optional third bed), for a total surface of 78 sq.m. Dommage que l'hôte et l'accueil casse cet ensemble : - Recevoir un contrat seulement 3 heures avant notre départ stipulant que les draps, serviettes et TORCHONS sont en options payante, - apprendre qu'il faut laisser un chèque de CAUTION ce qui n'est pas permis, - des frais de ménage supplémentaire exubérant quasiment imposé puisque qu'en produit ménager, nous n'avons eu que du liquide vaisselle et une éponge et un aspirateur pour faire le ménage des surfaces et du sol - enfin, le COUP DE GRÂCE : devoir signer un contrat à l'arrivée au gite vous indiquant que vous allez payer l'électricité sur la durée du séjour (deux jours facturés). Cette facture est anormalement élevée malgré une coupure d'électricité au beau milieu de la nuit Malgré les recommandations faites à l'hôte sur le fait de préciser tous ces frais dans l'annonce, il n'en a pas tenu compte et a considéré cela normal puisque ses prix sont bas. Pour avoir contacté Abritel suite à notre séjour, aucun frais ne peut être demandé en dehors de l'annonce. Nous vous conseillons, si cela se produit, de contacter immédiatement Abritel et de mettre fin à ses pratiques malhonnêtes. Des petites routes vous font traverser villages "vraies" , belles collines rondes et magnifiques étendues céréalieres pour arriver jusqu à "Daran". La ferme, parfaitement restaurée est superbement bien située. Après un accueil chaleureux du propriétaire , installation dans le gîte qui correspond en touts points à la description . Et force est de constater que pour ceux qui veulent se ressourcer, ou rechercher le calme il est difficile de trouver autant d avantages.Plus beaux paysages du gers, tous les villages typiques vous entourent, sans oublier bien sûr Lupiac et son célèbre chevalier d' Artagnan. Toutefois le gers regorge également de ferias , country, et jazz à Marciac . Nous ne pouvons que conseiller cette location. ##### emmanuel c.
