It was a good location but not really walkable to downtown. However there are a few restaurants, coffee houses and grocery stores that are walkable, The bus stop was right there and it was easy to use. Many tours did pickups from there. I felt the hotel provided everything we needed. It was nice to have the breakfast included and options in the evening. The lamb stew was delicious. A lil pricey but in line with Iceland prices. It was very clean and had a wonderful shower.

"The outside of the building looks terrible. Abandonbed. I thought my husband was joking when he said that was it. But the inside was completely redone and surprisingly modern and clean.
