Please note that there are no cameras located inside the home or in any private areas. Only the number of guests in the confirmed reservation are allowed to stay overnight. Quiet hours are from 10 pm - 9 am. We allow well-behaved dogs (no cats) who are up to date on vaccines to stay with us. The yard is not fenced, and you will be responsible for picking up after your dog and placing into the trash (not left outside in bags). You will also be responsible for reimbursing for any damages your pet may cause to furniture and furnishings at the house as we want to keep our house in top condition for future guests. No trash is to be left outside that is not in the designated lidded trash can in the carport. We have a strict dog only pet policy. There is a $50.00 pet fee and a maximum of two dogs allowed at the property. If you plan to bring your dog(s) along, please be sure it is included in your reservation at confirmation. Unauthorized pets at this property will result in a $100.00 reservation violation fee in addition to the standard $50.00 pet fee. Thank you in advance for both your compliance and understanding of our pet policies. No smoking indoors. A $250 fee will be charged to guests after departure if evidence of smoking cigarettes or marijuana indoors is detected. The location is great to get to the Fan District but what was REALLY helpful was the off street parking - not something found frequently in Richmond and kind of a pain elsewhere! It was close to everything! I loved being able to walk to Byrd Park every morning for some exercise and sunshine! There were so many wonderful restaurants and other things to do (shopping, hiking, museums) just minutes from this location. We visited both Maymont and Belle Isle for some outdoor fun plus the Museum of History and Culture. We had all that we needed in the cottage to relax and rest up for our next adventure including coffee, games, soft throw blankets, a great hot shower and comfortable beds. The home is close to the street so night traffic could be heard but a fan that was in the cottage provided white noise to block that. Tens of options for dining and a quick shopping trip for that always forgotten necessity.Three rooms with two queen beds and two twin beds fit us perfectly. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for a family of 5 with everything one would need in a vacation kitchen as well as ample towels and board games. We love this place!! The homeowner was extremely accommodating! We wanted to check in earlier so she had her cleaning staff prioritize her house which allowed us to get just early enough!! I wish we could have stayed longer but it filled up too fast!! Rightfully so. I would recommend her to everyone! Thanks for and amazing experience!! You should charge more the home had everything in abundance. Power towels and so so much more.
