It was a rather old property. The bathrooms have old stains on the walls and did not look clean. Towels are thin and only provided 2 of them. There is a Waffle House across the street so that was convenient for breakfast. It was ok for one night but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer than that.

The room was disgusting, holes in the walls, floor rotting, in order to lay down i wiped everything down with bleach wipes. The iffice chair was broken, and it was not good thankful it was one night. I will not return. Go at your own risk!

Decent low budget option in North Side RVA
Okay but dated. Fairly clean. Average pillows. Good A/C. Only had 1 half roll of toilet paper. Thankfully didn't need more. ;) It is what is. Staff was very nice.

The front door had big air gaps. There were dead cockroachs everywhere. You could feel the springs in the bed. The bathroom door got shut and couldn't open it.

Lost reservation and not helpful at all!
My daughter was traveling alone and tried to check in at 10:30 PM. The property couldn't find her reservation and told her they were completely booked. Not sure if it was hotels.com fault or the property but they were not sympathetic and did absolutely nothing to help her. They sent a young woman out to her car to deal with it herself Very unsympathetic and unprofessional.

When I tried checking into my room, they couldn’t find my reservation even though I had a confirmation number. So I had to pay for a new room. I Should’ve known at that moment to go elsewhere. The room was dirty. Towels in the bathroom were stained and shower curtain looked like it had black mold on it. Also had a broken towel rod just chilling on the counter. I also asked the front desk to borrow scissors and they told me they didn’t have any but I could see them in the pencil holder.

It was a quiet, safe, adequate, convenient location for our purposes. We were there for a wedding in Downtown Richmond and this hotel was 7 miles away and a lot less expensive. I didn't like that there was NOT a coffee maker in our room or shampoo and conditioner, even though I brought my own. The bedding and and surface areas were clean but the caulking in tub had mildew and the baseboards were dirty. I don't expect perfection but at least for the place to be cleaner than my home, since no one is living there. I will not stay here again.

Gross!!
We didn't really expect too much for a 2 star hotel, BUT it was gross. Hair on the sheets, dust on the end tables, medicine (pill) on the floor, mirror was not cleaned, toilet seat slides, shower had hair in it and the curtain was moldy. To top it off, you never go into the office. You use a drivethru window to check in and a dropbox to check out.

Rooms were outdated and dirty. Not a good part of town. My son has asthma and although the rooms say “nonsmoking” the entire room reeked of cigarettes. Bed bugs. I paid for 2 nights and left after being in the room for 20 minutes. It was so bad I decided to leave and just lose out on the money to go somewhere nicer so I didn’t even stay one.

This was a disappointing place to stay. Shower head did not work well, fridge was broken , microwave and alarm clock as well. The room was not throughout clean and it was smelly. We asked for a non smoking room, but someone had smoked there before as they left a cigarette butt. Front desk was useless and they did not do anything to accommodate us to a different place. And finally the internet service was useless as well.

When I was booking online, I still had some concerns about it, as some of the reviews are not that friendly. Actually, I was here, I am quite satisfied with it. Everything is very nice, it's clean, quiet and convenient. there are many restaurants nearby and it is very close to I95.

Arrived at check in time, room not ready. waited 30 minutes, still not ready. finally got in and it was nasty. burn holes in blankets, no towels, soap nothing!!!! Then housekeeping made racial slurs towards me. staff was zero help and did not even care. The staff was so loud and ugly that 4 others checked out due to this incident. These rooms are never deep cleaned... absolutely disgusting.

This Econo Lodge was absolutely thilthy. We were booked for 2 nights. If it weren't for the fact that we checked in at 11:00 pm on the first night and had no where to go we would have cancelled both nights. The front desk did say they would initiate a refund for the 2nd night, but someone needs to look into them using the Econo Lodge name. This is not like an Econo Lodge.

Check-in was done at an outside window with manager behind a "bank like" protected shield and the lobby door was locked. The floor was sticky and dirty and our sheets were still damp from washing. Hotel information indicated a continental breakfast would be served in the lobby but when I tried the door it was locked and then they told me to go to the Waffle House across the street.

It smelled like mold. The room had not been clean. Dirt was all over the floors inside the dresser. The ac was extremely loud and dirty. When asked to move to another room non were available and it was no refund. Couldn’t take the smell so had to leave and stay somewhere else.

The smoke detector was missing. The wood floors hadn’t been mopped in ages. Just an hour of walking around in socks and our socks were filthy. Several of the towels had stains and/or holes in them. Had to clean the tub again. The key to the room stopped working some time in the morning looong before check out. I guess you get what you pay for.
