My husband and I arrived at 10 am with a check in of 4 pm. We were able to get a room right away with an early check in. We also requested a late check out which was very helpful. The room was cleaned daily and the staff very friendly.

The beautiful lobby featured in the photo, was off-limits two out of the three nights we were guests, due to private events being held there. The rooms were very small. We were initially placed in the classic superior room. It faced a noisy boiler serving the air conditioning needs for the building. It had a very small closet for clothes. The boiler noise drove us to move rooms to an even smaller size, without any closet. The street noise in the smaller room size was tolerable, with earplugs. The hotel has two passenger elevators, and during the busy times of 4 to 6 PM, and 9 AM to 10 AM, several times people on the lower floors were stranded because of the capacity being maximized I guests on the upper floors, going down. The location is outstanding. The coffee bar in the lobby is also a great amenity, as is the speakeasy bar on the subterranean floor. It rained all weekend so we never visited the rooftop bar.
