"Our host could not have been more welcoming. The property was well stocked with fantastic views and space. The hot tub and sauna where used regularly and everything was in perfect working order. A lovely spot in a great location"

As to returning in the dark after a night out - definitely not! The interior is nicely decorated but not very cosy with a very basic kitchen definitely designed by someone who doesn't cook. "The location of the holiday home is ideal when you want to discover the area around Carcassonne. It is very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is a dream. The home is ideal in winter, spring or autumn but not when you search rest sitting outside at the pool as it is very loud from the highway. I assume you can't open a window during summer months. For the rest it is perfect."

I had a wonderfdul 3 nights and used the hotel as my base camp to visit Pyrenees and cathare country"
