"Property itself is amazing & unique. Medieval theme throughout the Property. The views of LePuy at sunrise/sunset were spectacular. Staff were very friendly and accommodating of all our needs. "Villa Saint Ange is a gorgeous property with an original 17th century building where we stayed and two newly built, beautiful adjacent buildings. The landscaping, furnishings, and art show great taste, care, and attention to detail. It’s in a quiet area only about 10 minutes walk to the Cours Mirabeau. Breakfast was included for us and very delicious. Room service dining was delicious too. Parking is available underground for a 25 euro fee. This property only has 34 rooms and is very intimate. Good value for 5 stars…"

"There are some really lovely things about this hotel, including the wonderful gardens, a great pool and a fantastic breakfast. However, for a five star hotel, my deluxe room felt very basic and the bathroom was cramped with no windows and no storage space. The most disappointing thing was the staff. Our experience was extremely mixed we had a very good initial welcome but then a waitress for supper at the pool bar was dismissive and very unfriendly and that was the experience throughout There was unfortunately a fire alarm in the middle of the night when we were there, which caused all guest to vacate their rooms. These things happen but I was against surprised that for a small family run hotel there was no word of apology for the inconvenience verbally or in writing from members of staff. So a mixed day, but for the money, I don’t think I would be back despite the lovely garden and breakfast"
