Welcome to the Lolo Cabin, a space we are excited to share with you! Our place is ideal for a relaxed getaway, up to 4 people. We have a lovely front porch as well as a nice size back deck, a picnic table, charcoal grill and newly installed hot tub.
The main room is TV free, allowing you to fully unplug and unwind by the cozy wood-stove.

Guest access:
*Guests have access to the deck behind the house, the hot tub and grass area where the hammock, Adirondack chairs and picnic table live. In addition, the front yard, patio and eastern/main driveway. For the purposes of this listing and your reservation, the property lines are as follows: N - along Terrace Drive S - where the property begins to slope downhill behind the deck E - the main driveway W - the picnic table. *. *We have an IKEA full size futon style sleeper sofa in the TV room that can sleep 1-2. Bedding is kept in a closet and is self-serve for set up. The Chesterfield couch in living room is also wide enough for single person sleeping - actually comfortable too!
*Window AC unit installed in summer months only - luckily, the cabin stays pretty cool even on really hot days + the ceiling fan circulates well.
*No parties please and if there are gatherings with more than guests listed on the reservation, we'd love to know first.
*Dogs are allowed but if you’re bringing more than 2, send us a message before booking please. We do have dog bowls, waste bags, specific dog towels, ect for communal use. While we clean thoroughly between each guest, we cannot guarantee at any given time that the cabin will be free of any pet dander. Due to allergies, we are unable to host cats.
*Again, it’s a dog friendly listing. While we aim to get every hair vacuumed, lint rolled or otherwise removed… dog hairs may still be present on items, imperfectly.
*That being said, dogs aren’t allowed on elevated fabric surfaces i.e. futon couch, bed, armchair, etc. While dander in inevitable, cleans between guests run smoother this way.
*Dogs must be supervised while on the property grounds at all times. Please ensure your dog does not wander onto neighboring yards, driveways or street.
*The cabin's driveway is along the eastern side of the property and in line with the mailbox and address marker. It is an "in and out" style... NOT a turnaround or attached to another driveway. Please do not drive on the lawn or anywhere else on the property.
*Guests booking must be 21 or older.
*Access to all listed TV streaming subscriptions can change at any time
*We do get snow in the winter months. HWY 26 is always plowed and lower E Lolo tends to be as well. The street to the cabin is a gravel base but It's always a good idea to carry chains in winter months.
*We will provide a bundle of wood & fire starters for your stay. Kindling will be needed to start your fire, and we provide an ax and hatchet as tools for this. The wood we provide MUST be chopped down to start a fire.Additional wood can be purchased at several stores, just minutes away. Please do not go "gathering" for sticks/burning material on or around the property. We provide the ax, hatchet and area outside to create these smaller pieces.
*Lolo Cabin is part of a small community of homes along the Zigzag River. We have full time neighbors and we ask that you respect their peace and quiet. We are located on a gravel road (5mph MAX) off a major street, up from the main highway.
*To keep dirt at a minimum we ask you remove your shoes when entering the cottage & please wipe your dogs feet and body especially if it’s wet outside.
*Our neighborhood of 3 streets all share the same water well. The cabin is on a septic system. We ask you to not flush anything besides TP down the toilet and use the drain catcher in the kitchen sink for food waste.
*Price includes the local 6% Transient Lodging Tax, remitted to Clackamas County on a monthly basis.

The cabin was absolutely lovely - in a beautiful and convenient location, with everything you could need. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and was so relaxing! Highly recommend and hope I’m lucky enough to come back again in the future!
Amazing quiet little cabin in the woods. It had everything we needed. Loved having a wood fire and all the trees surrounding the hot tub. Would stay again!
This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed playing games, soaking in the hot tub and just enjoying being in the woods. Will definitely be back!
We enjoyed this house so much the first time we came back for a second stay. Great host, cozy home with nice kitchen, comfy bed, sounds of the river so nice and hot tub is an added bonus! Very dog friendly! We will stay here again if available!
We loved our stay here! It was the cutest cabin that was so perfect and clean! The host was kind and friendly with communication. Everything was perfect!
The location is ideal. We wanted to be close to Mt Hood for snowboarding and close to hiking and townie amenities nearby and it really fit the bill. It's a quiet location with neighbors close enough for comfort, while still providing privacy. We had a very enjoyable stay.
We’re return guests and always enjoy this cabin. Convenient access to the mountain, awesome hot tub and everything else you need. Perfect size for our family of three. Great communication from the host!
The cabin is beautiful, the hot tub was wonderful. My husband and our pup loved the closeness to fishing spots, and I enjoyed the quiet morning soak in the spa. 10/10, we love it here and would come back!
Second time staying at this lovely rental. Overall an amazing stay. The hot tub worked great but really needs a good cleaning. But other then this, this property had everything we needed.
The house was very clean and had good space and amenities. It was nice to be able sit outside in the back - my husband loved this. Bed and furniture was comfy. The location was close to all our hiking and activities. We loved it.
Our host was so sweet and welcoming! She even allowed early check in due to the snow storm. The house is so cute and cozy especially the fireplace and hot tub. We had a blast celebrating my birthday with our pups! Dog towels, treats, and dishes were provided.
Renea has such a cozy and sweet little house! Location could not have been better for us visiting friends up the road for Thanksgiving, kitchen is well equipped, bed is very comfortable, super dog friendly and the hot tub under the stars was an added bonus. Renea was a great host, responsive and accomodating. We hope to book here again, loved everything!
My husband and I stayed 5 nights. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and even used it one cool morning. There were quiet restaurants/bars nearby. We went on some amazing hikes and went swimming. Don’t miss a stop into Mount Hood Baking Company. We had excellent pastries there!!
This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Lots of little extras from bathrobes to allergy medicine (spring is beautiful but full of pollen). There were so many cozy blankets and pillows, tea options, and even coffee brewing options. I had to take a few work meetings and the wifi did great. The hot tub worked well, which was wonderful. I do suggest they change the lighting in the bathroom because it's very dark in there - too dark to out on makeup for sure.
The property was so peaceful and beautiful. We could get our fire to stay lit but that was probably due to some fault of our own. The home was so cozy and inviting and had everything we needed. The hot tub was our favorite, of course. The hiking trails nearby are super magical. The vibe was so romantic and perfect that my partner proposed to me right in the home :) we will definitely be back!
My mama friend and I enjoyed two nights at the Lolo cabin for a quiet getaway from our usual responsibilities.
It is very well appointed, with a fully stocked kitchen that had all you needed to cook and enjoy your own meals. There were also plenty of towels, blankets, and even robes to wear to the hot tub.
The bedroom was inviting and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and soft linens. There was a room with a tv and gaming console but we did not use that on our trip.
We enjoyed taking two hikes all within short walking distance. One was along the river, and the other was up in the foothills, with a beautiful view.
We did a quick run to the Thriftway for some wood and a few items. This store is very well stocked and the people are friendly. The wood stove put off great heat and we were comfortable for our stay.
Would definitely visit again, to explore more of the area in the future.
I booked this rental because I was heading to Mt. Hood Meadows for three days of skiing. The location was ideal, but the hot tub ended up being the star attraction. It was so nice to soak out in the great outdoors after a day of skiing. We had a fantastic time and the communication with the host was outstanding. Thanks!!
