Custom built, 2 bed, 2 bath cabin on 5 acres is the perfect retreat. Floor to ceiling windows, double sliding doors downstairs, bring nature right to you. Views of Clear Creek from the master bedroom, and secluded forest views from every other window make this the perfect place to recharge. Take a dip in the cedar wrapped hot tub, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, explore the wooded trails & make your way down the the water. \*No WiFi/cell service\* (only 5-7 mins away) Welcome to Tamanawas, our private 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Cabin in the beautiful Mount Hood Forest. Upstairs is the Primary Suite, queen size bed, smart tv with DVD player, full private bathroom with large walk in shower, large closet and dresser, and magical views. Open up those windows and listen the the sounds of water. Downstairs bedroom has 4 bunks with cozy linens, dressers, closet and a private bathroom with walk in shower. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything one could need. Kitchen is open to the dining area and living room complete with a wood stove for those cozy nights. Double sliding doors open the the back covered patio with a BBQ. Just off the patio is the fire pit area and picnic table. Landscaped rock paths lead you to the cedar wrapped hot tub and hammock. Follow the trails to the creek, explore the woods, play in the stick teepee, play ping pong in the covered garage area. No WiFi and limited cell service depending on carrier. House has a landline and there is full cell service 5 minutes away (coffee shop in Welches, approx 10 mins from cabin) ★ Hot tub \*We strive to make sure hot tubs are working at all times. If they are not working due to circumstances outside of our control, unfortunately we cannot provide any type of refund for the inconvenience. The whole 5 acres is yours to enjoy! Its interior is a welcoming blend of coziness as well as spaciousness, while the exterior (including hot tub, ping-pong table, charming foliage, and a meandering stream rustling over rocks and pebbles) is ideal for relaxation. We also found the cabin remarkably well-stocked, from toiletries & kitchen items to games, puzzles and coffee table books. And while this location is remote enough to be off the cellular grid, it’s also within a 10-15 min drive of enjoyable local eateries and grocery shops. Great proximity to the mountain. Wonderful trails from running up the Old Salmon River Trail. Like, amazing! Cabin was a great place to unwind and relax after our days outdoors. Ping pong table was in pretty rough shape and no lights out there made it pretty hard to play. For the length of our stay, a few extra laundry pods and dishwasher tabs would have been nice. We came here for his birthday and then turned into a little honeymoon getaway! Was our first time in Oregon EVER. It was just more than we were expecting and all of our expectations were met!! Location is away from the traffic and very secluded. The cabin is beautiful and nestled in a forest with its own creek and plenty of space for exploring the grounds. I loved visiting the creek and hearing the peaceful rush of water nearby. The vegetation is so lush and yet we did not have mosquitoes bother our family of five. The huge windows around the cabin gave us the feel like we were camping in the forest, but within the luxury of a newly done cabin home. The laundry room, hot tub and kitchen were all well-planned and nice amenities and we spent lots of time outdoors on the table tennis table and the hammock if we weren’t chatting around the outdoor living space having barbecue for dinner.
