Cozy Eagle River Lakeside Log Cabin on Sunset Lake


Enjoy sunsets from the spacious deck, screen porch, or lake side campfire. Firewood is provided. Our lot is private, serene and level.
This cabin is the cozy log cabin you’ve always dreamed of. Close to snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails also there are miles and miles of biking and walking trails throughout the area.
Whether you’re visiting in the spring, summer, fall, or winter, it’s truly a year-round retreat!
Nestled between Eagle River and St. Germain.
Relax, Revive, Repeat…..

Sunset Lake is a private lake. There aren’t any public boat landings on the lake. We do have kayaks, and a rowboat. A 8 hp boat motor or pontoon boat are available for rent if you wish.
We suggest that if you plan on bringing a boat, that you boat on the nearby public access lakes. The Eagle River chain is in close proximity to our cabin. We boat on the chain very frequently and would love to provide tips and point you to our favorite restaurants that are on the water.

7-night stays from Friday to Friday only bookings during peak months from mid June through August.
Pets are $100 extra.
Boat motor rental is $250 per week
Pontoon boat rental $1100 per week $250 per day with 1 tank of gas.

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Everything was perfect-we loved it. Our family enjoyed the cozy fire and we had an adults Giant Jenga competition that was fun. We enjoyed making a bonfire outside.

Great 4th of July on the lake

This was a fantastic week on a beautiful quiet lake. The house was very nice with everything we needed. The Pontoon Boat was an added plus. Great place to vacation!

Beautiful Fall Getaway

Excellent hospitality, very clean and peaceful! Had a wonderful birthday weekend. Enjoyed watching the bald eagles fly overhead, listening to the loons. Also a really good place to go fishing for bass and crappie. Look forward to returning this winter!

The best up north place to stay!

Fantastic place to enjoy the lake! The cabin is exceptional with everything you could ask for to relax and have fun! It’s stocked with so many cool things to do, even on those rainy days. Bill and Cheryl are wondering host. The incredible sunsets top everything else!

Very Special Property

This was exactly what we needed or a short getaway from our normal schedule and scenery. The cabin was beautiful and had a great open-concept layout conducive for hanging out and relaxing. The kitchen was very well-stocked, and they even provided some welcome goodies. We wished it was warmer weather so we could have taken advantage of all the outdoor amenities (there's a beach!). We brought our dog with us and she enjoyed the scenery and property as well. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway--no matter the season!

We wanted a quiet lakefront stay and this place was everything we could have hoped for. Furnished as well as anyplace we have ever stayed, all the little things that you might have forgotten. Special Weekend

We took a special trip up north with my parents. My dad was a week out from his latest chemo treatment and on our way up to this cabin he said how weak and tired he was feeling. By our first morning there he was feeling so much better! The fresh air, perfect cabin, warm blankets, Christmas tree, secluded location,and time with family was healing in so many ways! We would love to return soon!

Grateful for a space like this!

It’s been said that this is better than pictures, and it’s true. The cabin is wonderfully secluded, has a beautiful private beach and the cabin itself is picture perfect. The pontoon available is wonderful. They have a canoe and kayaks available too. The fire pit is brilliant with its sunk-in iron bowl. The cabin itself was lovely. All the amenities you could think of from a coffee grinder to a griddle. We will definitely be back!

Property was as stated charming and very clean. Owner provided everything you would expect for family or friends to have an enjoyable stay. Communication with owner was perfect, even when asked for recommendations of good restaurants in the area their response was ideal. The cabin is on a beautiful clean and clear lake perfect for kids or adults to enjoy. Area was very quiet a perfect place to get away from every day noise and get refreshed. We would recommend this property to friends and family and hope to return in the future.

Not long enough!

This cabin is the perfect place to relax and soak up the north wood's atmosphere. Every comfort was there for us (even our lab had pillows and a dish!). The setting was private, as if we were the only people on the lake. And the hosts were extremely flexible and responsive! This rental is even better than the pictures so don't hesitate to sign up, you won't regret it.

Lovely cabin

We had a group of 4 (2 couples) and we were blown away with how perfect this cabin was. It was cozy, clean and in a perfect location right on the water. If I could add one thing, and only one because there’s nothing else I would change, I would add another queen size bed. It was a little hard to decide which couple got the master bed and which got the bunk. But even so, I will absolutely be coming back to this beautiful little spot!
