The house was nice, clean, quiet and conveniently located outside of town. My husband and I enjoyed fishing from the dock catching sunfish and perch. Sitting and fishing from the dock was great. We caught a lot of fish and several different species which was fun. During the week, it was very peaceful. We brought our own kayaks and paddle board to enjoy the lake, which I highly recommend. The screen porch was great to sit outside, eat, and play games. We visited in mid/late June, the flys and mosquitoes were not bad (compared to spending a day in Northern Michigan and getting eaten alive!), a lot of nearby properties spray, and the collective effort seems to make a difference. Tucked away on a point in a quiet neighborhood. Covered porch works well for storing things and hanging on the swinging chair. Gas stove gets the place to warm quickly.
