"The cottage at Raven’s Roost was a perfect spot for our long weekend enjoying the Shenandoah Valley area. Ed and Betsy were excellent hosts that really take pride in making sure your stay is everything that it can be. We loved getting to play with the dogs everyday when we came back from hiking. Miss Katniss, the orange and white kitty, loved having our attention too. We would definitely stay again at Raven’s Roost for our next visit to the Valley."

"We chose this property for its proximity to Early Mountain Vineyards, which was our primary destination, but we loved coming back to the cottage and making a wood fire with the complimentary wood the owner left us! We ended up not cooking anything ourselves, but all the necessary supplies were there if we had wanted to. A nice secluded spot right next to a river!"

"My friends and I stayed here for a short gateway. The house was very nice but the cons are: 1. Mattress were uncomfortable because they were old and spring mattress. 2. Linens looked old,musty, and dirty. Some linens still had stains. 3. Pillows were old and thin. 4. Bathrooms were stained in blue and old. 5. Pictures are not up to date here on Vrbo such as the rooms and gaming room was unexpected but we enjoyed it. Overall, we had a great stay. Location is great, easy to find. We would go back...

"Had a fun weekend stay with a trip to Shenandoah National Park for a hike and blackberry ice cream pie, visited a ciders in Sperryville, and enjoyed the Possom Store and Art Print shopping near the listing. "The cottage is in a great location close to breweries and wineries - it felt very centrally located to many options. The hosts were wonderful and you can tell they love and take care of the cottage.
