"We, a family of 5, stayed at this apartment for a little getaway weekend. We found this apartment to be quite comfortable, well placed within the town and stocked with all the necessaties. The check-in was simple and easy, and communication with the host was flawless. He even provided a parking spot behind the apartment, upon request. We also brought our dog, who was also welcome. There is a small park about a 10 minute walk away for kids. Just to note (as I must have missed it in the listing)...

"Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...

"Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Man hat viel Platz für gemütliche Abende. Spielplatz für die Kinder bietet Abwechslung und die Tiere sind super. Wanderwege ab Unterkunft sind entlang der Straßen, dies hat uns nicht so gefallen. Bus haben wir nicht genutzt. Ach ja, ein Bäcker ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es hat uns gut gefallen. "A comfortable and newly updated hotel. The owner was personable and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant holiday. They have an excellent breakfast that you shouldn’t skip. It was a fairly easy walk to the Market Square as well as all of the historic sights of Meißen. Also close to the train station for a day trip to Dresden and the Schloss Wackerbarth winery. "

"The staff were spectacular -very helpful and kind. Room was clean, and modern. Lobby was nice. Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot. Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it. Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."
