Duplex Chalet with Sauna and Terrace

This cosy, bright holiday home with breathtaking views over the Ourthe Valley is located 5 km from the lovely town of Roche-en-Ardenne. The house is spaciously built and equipped with many luxuries and a sauna. Ideal for families!

There is plenty to do in the region. From hiking and mountain biking routes through nature to castle ruins and the impressive Battle of the Bulge museum. Moreover, you can swim and kayak in the immediate vicinity (5 km from the house). Guests can take a guided mountain bike tour for an extra charge of €60 (on request).

There is a large living room with cosy seating area and fireplace. You will also find a fully equipped open kitchen with bar and dining area for as many as 12 people. There are 2 bathrooms and a sauna to relax in. Through the French doors you enter the large garden with a nice terrace and 180° views of the Ourthe valley. Moreover, the accommodation has a table tennis table, a jeu de boules court and a barbecue.
Reservations for groups of persons under 20 years of age are not permitted
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Het huis op zich is geweldig in potentie. Prachtige locatie. Super mooie en ruime ruimtes. Echter is het wat achterstallig qua onderhoud en dat is écht heel jammer. Over de eetkamer stoelen zaten (hele lelijke) hoezen. Onder die hoezen waren de zittingen helemaal kapot en dat voel je ook door de hoes heen. Dus dat zit echt niet lekker. Ook over de banken zijn hoezen gemaakt. Onder de hoezen ligt het ‘leer’ er helemaal af en de banken zakken ontzettend door. Sommige matrassen zijn zo doorgezakt dat we er meerdere dekbedden op hebben gelegd om een beetje oké te liggen. Dat lees ik al terug in de reviews van 2022. Zo ontzettend zonde! Ik zou zeggen.. Gooi wat verf tegen sommige muren, kit de badkamers opnieuw en koop wat nieuwe leuke stoelen en banken en je hebt echt een top locatie!!

Das Haus ist geräumig und mit allen Grundausstattungen ausgestattet. Renovierte Küche und Badezimmer im Obergeschoss. Die Schlafbereiche und das Badezimmer sous sole sind veraltet und etwas muffig. Die Sauna hat gut funktioniert! Großer gemeinsamer Garten und schöne (leicht verfallene) Terrasse. Viel teurerer Energie- und Wasserpreis bezahlt als im Vertrag mit Bellvilla angegeben. Verständlich bei den Preiserhöhungen, aber wir hätten das lieber vorher weitergeleitet... Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub!

2. Mal waren wir in diesem Haus, und es hat uns wieder gut gefallen. Innen wurde vieles verbessert (neue Küche, Treppe erneuert). Gute Betten, Haus war sauber. Draußen ist der Zustand nicht so gut, die Terrasse fühlt sich immer noch nicht sicher an, Schaukeln waren kaputt. Der Mangel an WLAN ist nicht unüberwindbar, aber eigentlich veraltet. Die Person, die uns empfangen hat, sprach dieses Mal gut Englisch.Ich denke, wir werden dieses Haus in ein paar Jahren wieder mieten, auch wegen des guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses

Haus liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, Garten wird mit 3 anderen Häusern geteilt und ist nicht eingezäunt. so waren die ganze Zeit Kinder aus dem Haus neben uns direkt hinter unserer Terrasse, die die ganze Zeit spielten, während wir hier Ruhe suchten (ohne Kinder). Das Haus ist renovierungsbedürftig. Vor allem die Terrasse, die buchstäblich verrottet war! Wir dachten, wir würden hier jeden Moment scheitern. Der Grillgrill war noch nie gereinigt worden :-)… Auch die Betten waren von sehr schlechter Qualität. Man hatte einen schönen Blick über den Garten und coole Unternehmungen in der Umgebung, die Stadt La Roche war auch sehr cool!

Unser Aufenthalt im Duplex Chalet war nichts weniger als magisch, Die Aussicht auf das Ourthe-Tal von der Terrasse war atemberaubend, besonders während des Sonnenuntergangs, Die Kinder liebten den Garten und das Tischtennis, während mein Partner und ich einige ruhige Momente in der Sauna genossen, Die offene Küche und der geräumige Essbereich waren perfekt für Familienmahlzeiten, Wir haben auch einen Tag damit verbracht, die nahe gelegene Feudalschloss und das Museum der Ardennenschlacht zu erkunden, die faszinierend waren, Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien, die in der Natur entspannen möchten!
