"This resort is second to none. I visited the spa during an overnight day from Friday to Saturday. Drove 3.5 hours from Atlanta and the drive was certainly worth it. The spa was very well organized. The spa staff was especially attentive and the experience was magical. The pool area of the spa is very picturesque, giving mountain oasis. On Friday nights, the main restaurant offers a seafood buffet that was the best seafood buffet I have ever experienced. The room was clean and modern. The fitness center was a short walk from the main hotel but provided everything I needed; very large facility. 10 out of 10 for the overall stay. Will definitely return! "

"Eveything about our stay in this house was perfect. Very clean and well stocked. Not far from downtown Asheville, so perfect location. Weaverville had a few breweries (Salt face mule) and decnt restaurants as well. Very private. Perfect getaway house. "

" Communication was very responsive and quick. The house was perfect for a large group of family members. The kids had a ball in the back yard. Kitchen was organized and clean. Missing large baking sheets and tongs but we made do just fine.We would rent this house again. "

"Perfect Hidden Mountain getaway. Just what the family needed to recharge the old batteries. Would like to stay again in the future. The rental is off the beaten path and contains quite an interesting history. At the same time, it's nearby to local restaurants and grocery stores and other amenities."

"We stayed here with our dog for a week, and were quite happy with the stay. Everything was as described if not better. If I hadn't known better I would have thought that it had been built much more recently than it actually was as it was very clean and well-maintained. Our dog absolutely loved the large, entirely enclosed wrap-around deck since most of the time when we travel she has to be on a leash whenever she is outside but with the gated deck she was able to lay out in the sun and relax and bark at the occasional squirrel that would climb around on the trees that support the treehouse.About the only thing that we occasionally didn't like was the hike up from the parking area to the treehouse itself, as we spent a lot of the week out hiking and thus were rather worn out by the time we got back- but the good thing is that the hike up the hill to the treehouse is well worth it once you're actually there. The location overall is nice- it is only about 15 minutes or so in to Asheville, and even less into Weaverville where there is a decent selection of places to eat. The location also lets you head out to some of the scenic overlooks and hikes without having to go through/around Asheville itself, and is fairly conveniently located to get to the Biltmore which we ended up enjoying a lot more than we had expected (if you can see the Luminaire nighttime light/projection show definitely make the time for it). Definitely recommended!"

"Very cozy, nice home. The bedrooms were large and had wonderful linens on the beds. The whole house made us feel so comfy! The back deck was very secluded with a nice view and fire pit, so sitting outside for a cocktail was very relaxing. The location was perfect! Highly recommend this host!"
