"Beautiful cabin situated at the back of a farm, very peaceful. Very spacious and inviting. Only a half hour to Chincoteague and an hour to Ocean City. Nice porch with a swing and 2 chairs to sit out in the morning with a cup of coffee (coffee maker provided). We loved having a pool table for our evening entertainment. Only thing we didn't like was the very tiny kitchen, absolutely no counter space at all :( "

"John is an excellent host, very helpful and considerate. The cottage is well appointed, very clean and neat and is located on a little piece of paradise overlooking them a marsh on the edge of the Bay. It's quiet, peaceful, and we even greeted by a small family of deer as we returned in the evenings. No need to pick up paper goods, ziplocks, or plastic food storage containers because everything is right there, including a new Weber gas grill on the back porch as well as chairs to relax in and a patio table and chairs.The beds and pillows were very comfy and the water pressure in the shower was great! Big, fluffy towels and washing machine and dryer.It's a short drive over to Chincoteague but it's an easy trip through the countryside and we were able to leave the crowd on the Island each day and sleep peacefully at the cottage at night. John hooked us up with a wonderful local boat captain, C.L. Marshall, a knowledgable local with a passion for the community and life, and we enjoyed a trip to Tangier and to Smith Island where we ate fresh crab cake sandwiches and the famous Smith Island Cake of Maryland, for lunch in Tylertown at the Drum Point Mkt. We were able to book CL, Friday to watch the Pony Swim back to Assateague Island, because we got lucky and his group had an emergency and had to cancel. I can't thank John enough for his hospitality and guidance during our stay! 5Star Top Shelf host!!"

"Lady at check in was super friendly. Bed is comfy. Shower is great. Pillows need to be replaced. That is my only complaint. They don’t offer soaps and shampoos but to me that’s just a waste. I always bring my own. Towels were extremely nice for a hotel. Not super big but fluffy and clean. If they got new pillows this place would get five stars from me. I have stayed in a lot of high end hotels and this one is just as nice for a very reasonable price. "

"Rockin rando was a awesome hoast very accommodating and was always available to answer any questions we had. The property was beautiful and the house was very cozy if you like fishing and crabbing this is your spot you will catch dinner. My little family had a awesome time and are booking again next summer. "Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly. The hotel itself is not new but the room was very clean with updated furniture and floors. It is obvious the owners take care of it. I was only there for one night with an early morning appointment so can't say much about the surrounding area other than it was convenient to my appointment."
