If I was to sum up my experience in two words it would be, absolutely spectacular! From the intimate and personal service to the exceptionally appointed rooms and breathtaking scenery! Great location. Room was spacious and staff was pleasant. Wine bar a bit on the expensive side relative to other establishments in the area, but the pleasantness of the bar tender was an offset. Note- if you prefer or need a soda/cola sans sucre (sugar free) they did not have that at the hotel so make sure to purchase elsewhere.

We really loved our stay at this hotel! The hotel is so historic and beautiful! Our room was clean, spacious, and had cold air conditioning! The housekeeping service was excellent. The front desk staff were so helpful to us and we appreciated them very much. We did not eat at the hotel but walked to several very good restaurants and cafes. Parking was right in front of the hotel. The town is so walkable and just lovely. We visited both Lascaux II and IV and well as other historical sites and they were all a short drive from the hotel. We were gone for six weeks in total through Spain, France, and Italy, including a transatlantic cruise and our stay at this hotel and the entire experience of visiting the caves was our highlight of the entire trip. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone!!!!

The hotel is to the North of Bordeaux city centre. It is few minutes walk to a tram stop for the C Tram line and a 20-25 min tram line into the city. The hotel pool is good with some sunbeds, and it’s open 11am-9pm with the hotel providing pool towels for free use. The bedroom on 6th floor look to have been recently refurbished and was comfortable. The hotel was let down by having not many staff to cover the bar during the day and reception. The breakfast buffet was basic, but there was staff replenishing regularly what was on offer. It was fine.

Great hotel in the center of Bordeaux. Rooms are small but wonderfully designed and comfortable. The bed is excellent. More importantly, the staff in the hotel are very helpful, and have always a smile. I would definitely stay again.
