The lake beach is a 2 minute walk and most days we were the only ones there. It was clean and refreshing! The house is spotless. This home is well equiped with anything you might need for your stay at the lake. We have rented many homes over the years and this was one of the best. The house was perfectly laid out for families and very clean. The game room was a Big plus with the kids (and grown-ups). Kathleen, the owner, was Very easy to communicate. She responded quickly to our questions and did everything she could to make sure we had everything we needed. The house had everything you would need for your vacation. It was nice not to have to bring extra "stuff." The lake is beautiful. The community beach was quiet and only a short walk across the street. The kayaks and paddle board were an added bonus. We all loved paddling around the lake. We love this area of ME. Luckily we had beautiful weather during our stay, but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Some of the best fresh donuts and lobster rolls are only 2 minutes from the house. Very clean, kitchen had all the basics and then some. Game room was fun for the kids and adults. The beach was awesome for the kids to swim and play. From shampoo in the showers to beach chairs and games, the owner and house provide almost everything you would need. My children loved using the included kayaks and paddle board on the lake. Our kids really loved the game room. Location is very nice - short walk to the water. We enjoyed taking family photos by the lake during the sunsets, grilling, making s’mores in the fire pit, playing in the game room, relaxing downstairs watching tv. Not too far from Portland- we also spent a day at Bar Harbor and Acadia national park(couple hour drive from here) Very friendly owner who went out of her way to make sure we had a great time.
