If you're an ambitious walker like me who prefers privacy and adventure, this location is excellent, with easy access to 24 stores, groceries, bus stops, and dinner options. There's usually parking in the area, even if it's not the ODDSON spaces, but be careful to avoid the reserved spots directly next door. The kitchen is perfect, the bathroom is small but clean, and the bed is super cozy. With Icelandic heating, you can keep a window open at all times, which feels refreshing. The staff are responsive, my only complaint is the late check-in time, so definitely recommend booking the day before you arrive if your flight lands early in the morning. (4 reviews) This dome was perfect! Very clean which is the most important to me. It had all the essentials, extra blankets and the beds were comfortable. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back!
