Room not maintained. Light bulbs out, light fixtures unplugged, tub drain stopped up, doors would not close or open without extra effort or not at all. Refrigerator never cooled down even after 12 hours. On a good note bed was very comfy and a/c worked great with minimal noise!! Staff was very helpful in making things better.

Snow not plowed!
The parking lot was not plowed. I had to carry my luggage on my shoulder. My feet were tripped up by deep tire tracks.

5 Star Remodeled Motel.
The motel is very clean and remodeled. The owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best. We will stay again. Thank you.

Great value!
Great value place to stay for all those on a budget. New owner is doing a complete remodel / update on all rooms including new paint, new furniture, new appliances, etc. Pet friendly with minimal charge for pets. Highly recommended no-frills place to stay.

The room was very clean, but there were many minor things wrong, The whole hotel needed to be renewed, the floor was uneven, the refridgerator wasn't quite cold enough, the sheets were a little too small for the beds and kept popping off. When I arrived to check in, a phone number was posted on the door to call. Really?

This is a very old property so don't expect too much. The check-in went smoothly and the manager was pleasant. The room was clean. The bathroom showed its age and the bathtub drained very slowly. Never could get the TV to work properly as only one channel would work. But the A/C kept the room cool.

The room was nice and clean but the toilet in the bathroom was not working properly. The shower tub combo did not have any safety features. The floor of the tub was slippery and we both almost slipped and fell when using the shower.

Worst place I've seen
Worst place I've ever stayed at. Open electrical box with wires above sink. Smell of a very old building. Didn't even see a fire alarm. None of the furniture matches. Had I not already paid I would not have stayed. ONLY thing this place is good for is to shower and bed.

There was a coffee machine, but no pot. The beds were very hard and some of the lights in the room didnt work. The neighborhood is sketchy with people running around yelling at 10 p.m. still.

One problem
The gentleman in the office was great. He was polite and friendly. The room was dated, but had really nice comfortable bed. My only real complaint was no hot water. None. That's a deal breaker for me and will most likely not return here.

NOT WORTY THE MONEY!!!
Very disappointed!! Although the staff was very nice, the rest was terrible!!! 1st room was nit clean so we got moved to another that didn't have any toiletries, not enough towels, the bed was is terrible condition!!! Bedding keep coming off cause the used full for queen bed, the comforter was ripped and the room smelled horrible!!! Besides all that there wasn't any breakfast, not even to go, although it is advertised on the website. It was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what it was offered. I do NOT recommend!!!

4 out of 10 for me.
The room had a dated appearance. The memory foam mattresses had a foul odor to both of them. When you sat or laid down on them, all the absorbed odors in them would "air" out and a very nasty, foul odor was apparent. Not a good choice for a hotel/motel mattress. When we first went into the room, we didn't see any towels and happened to see the cleaning lady walking by so we asked her for some towels. She rather rudely replied that they were behind the door. She wasn't friendly about it at all. Overall, it was a 4 out of 10 experience. I was also going to be bringing a party of 8 to same motel in August, but after this stay, we will be booking somewhere else.

Sorry to hear about this. We are in New Mexico and smoking weed is prohibited by state law. Please next time report such activity to the front desk if you are in any hotel. It is hard for small properties with 1 or 2 to know what some guests are doing in there rooms. But I do want to thank you for the heads up.

Griounds were dirty, room was dingy and old, bed was messy, shower didn’t work. I used my card to hold the room and it wasn’t supposed to be chsrged, but it was. Had to contact Hotels.com to get a refund, which they did and their service was great.

Excellent value
Excellent deal for the price, room was nice and clean, though the bathroom is a little outdated. 40s outside but warm and welcoming inside, no need to turn on heat. Safe and quiet location versus the east side of town. Made small talk with the owner who was down to earth and friendly. Breakfast is sufficient for the price.

Very easy to find. Super price! Fridge did not work, could not connect to internet. Owner is a super guy and will undoubtedly keep working to fix these minor issues. Oh, and the room was warm even though it was 9 degrees outside. 😎

We frequent colorodo often and always stay in Raton NM at Rodeway . Owner really cool down to earth guy and even housekeeping chick is pretty cool too! We love it here and it’s inexpensive.
