Abominabel slecht hotel. Geen enkele verbetering!!

In 2006 eveneens dit hotel bezocht. Het is geen haar beter geworden. De staat van het hotel is nog voor géén "meter" verbeterd. Het personeel is brutaal en arrogant, waarvoor overigens gezien de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding geen enkele reden is. Het bedienend personeel beloofd en zegt dingen toe, die ze absoluut niet nakomen. Vertellen onwaarheden. DE kamers zijn vies. Gordijnen zog net zo vies als in 2006. Sluiten slecht. Airco maakt ontzettend veel lawaai. Douche heeft een vies ligbad met beschimmelede randen. Een zeer smerige haarföhn, die in jaren niet te lijkt gebruikt. We hadden in het hotel in de bar een privé ontmoeting en het dienstdoende personeel stond achter een deur stiekem het onderhoud/ gesprek af te luisteren. Bij het inchecken keken ze alsof ze water zagen branden. Onbegrijpelijk dat een dergelijk hotel enig bestaansrecht heeft. Kortom: niet meer boeken hier. Zeer maar dan ook ZEER slechts hotel. Het is dat er geen andere hotels in de omgeving van Ratnapura zijn, maar anders zou ik vast en zeker elders boeken.

Gem mining tour

Wonderful staff, meals good but slow to arrive. The whole place looks like it has seen better days, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs.
