"Außergewöhnliche Gastgeber. Wir waren zu Fuß unterwegs und wurden von Marjan ins nächste Dorf gefahren, um einkaufen und Abendessen zu können. Er hat uns eine Stadtrundfahrt gegeben und viel über die Gegend erzählt. Nach der Abreise hatten wir unser Essen im Kühlschrank gegessen. Es war ein Feiertag, an denen die Geschäfte geschlossen hatten. "Lovely setting of old farm buildings amongst babbling brooks and shady trees. Superb food, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Spent 5 very pleasant nights there. Thoroughly recommend it."

"Such a lovely property--the balcony is so relaxing. Rooms are wonderfully appointed and enjoyed our conversations with the owner. He was so helpful and interesting to chat with. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town."

"Had room with twin beds.room was clean, shower walls could use some scrubbing. Nice breakfast spread , staff very nice. If you just need a place to sleep its fine just simple. Personally i was a little claustrophobic just had a small sky light in room. Town was cute i came for the night to see where Melani Trump grew up. The adress on the sight needs to be changed .Google takes you to a totally different street .Had to ask for directions. "
