My wife and myself Stayed for 9 days and had the most relaxing time imaginable. Very beautiful grounds The villa was very charming Loved JJs Resort Fell in love with Raratonga lad back pace , miss the cockeral morning alarm call a little reminder your in paradise 🌞 Unfortunately didn't get to see the hosts " But we will hopefully see them next time . Highly recommend*****

Would thoroughly recommend staying at JJ's retreat. Lovely hosts (including furbabies Cookie and Harley!). Clean villa, comfortable bed, beautiful gardens and so peaceful (we even got used to the roosters!).

Lovely Property

Property was lovely and well appointed. It was a bit further from the beach than we thought, but we ended up getting a car for other purposes too, so it was OK. The pool was a lifesaver in the hot weather!

We arrived late, lights were on, door unlocked and Jaime had provided some eggs, bacon, bread and marmalade, knowing the shops were shut, excellent service, cannot find fault in any way. Fabulous environment, gardens, pool, private, walk to beach, furry friends - Cookie and 3 legged Harley, they were fun! Highly recommend!

Had a great stay here…. Hosts are easy to communicate with and accomodating … was in the pool everyday & loved meeting the locals… will miss the roosters every morning and will definitely come back for another stay 😊

The pool was pne of the items with this hut. It is paradise on eath. You you are looking to relex and enjoy an islan get away. This is the place. You will meet the local wild life. There is no AC just natural sea breeze.

A very nice hut with lots of amenities. The kitchen is really well equipped, they provided also some basic stuff to get you going. It's very clean and we were not so much bothered with bugs like im other places we stayed in the Cooks. It's a bit off the main road so you do get a lot of privacy and there are some beautiful gardens around.

The secluded environment was great. Felt like you are on your own. No kids policy works for us even though does not really bother us either. All essential items were provided which was good to see.

2 villas set in beautiful gardens with a pool, ladder access. Identical villas, 1 bedroom with kitchen, 2 hobs, microwave, fridge freezer and bathroom basin, toiket, large shower. Outside deck area with 2 loungers, 2 chairs and table outside shower. Really clean on arrival with bed made and towels 2 toilet rolls and toiletries. No cleaner or fresh towels or sheets all week which was a downside. Half hour walk to local supermarket. Bus passes end of road every half hour.

Absolutely gorgeous place

JJ,s retreat is amazing. I honestly can’t fault this place. The grounds are outstanding. The villa is gorgeous. Super clean. Beautifully decorated. We had a blast here. Just left the property last night. It has its own swimming pool. Very quiet place. I 100% recommend this place. It was approx a 20 minute walk to the Aroa beach which is one of the best snorkelling spots on the island which has a nice fish and chip restaurant there and the dive centre and bike & car rental. It’s super close to the Rarotonga beach club & spa hotel. This location is just up a side road from the waterfront but it’s worth the walk. Very decently priced. You will benefit if you have a bike rental ($12 down the road let day) or a car. There is a bunch of fruit trees on the property that you can pick fruit from. Bananas, mandarin oranges, mangos, lemons etc.

A little paradise

We stayed for 9 nights in this wonderful corner of paradise,5 minutes walking distance from the beautiful beaches and from shops/restaurant/bars.clean and fully equipped,I recommend to stay at Jj while in Rarotonga

Beautiful Bungalows in Paradise

We had a wonderful time at JJ's. It is a very detail oriented bungalow retreat, with a lovely yard and mountain back drop setting. We were there from June 12 - 23 2017. James and Vanessa could not have been more gracious and generous. What awesome hosts, and what an awesome place. Thanks so much!
